Zatsurig is a minor antagonist in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, serving as the primary antagonist of the episode 41. He is one of the Imperial Guards accompanying the Emperor Ackdos Gill to the Gigant Horse. He is known among many in the Zangyack's ranks as the "Destroyer of Worlds" due to the full extent of his powers. Among many of the planets he destroyed is Famille, incinerating Ahim's parents before her eyes. Arriving to Earth to take out the Gokaigers, Zatsurig is defeated by Gokai Pink before being destroyed by Kanzen GokaiOh.
He was voiced by Hiroki Tōchi.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Under the emperor's jurisdiction, he destroys multiple planets that don't submit to the Zangyack Empire, with the body count likely to be high.
- He uses his powers to destroy the planet Famille, which is shown onscreen in a flashback and thus proving his title correct, with only a few survivors managing to escape. This motivates Ahim into becoming Gokai Pink in order to bring hope to those survivors.
- He personally murdered Ahim's parents, the king and queen of the planet, before they could try to escape with Ahim watching this in horror. She only survives due to her butler being ordered by them to escape the planet. This makes him a personal villain to Ahim.
- When Zatsurig appears before her again in the present, she becomes so pissed she tries to attack him alone out of anger and pushing away Joe and Gai, which was a sudden contrast to her usual kind and peaceful personality, further showing how much this affected her.
- He along with Dyrandoh, attacked and imprisoned Damaras on Ackdos's orders for his failure to protect Warz's death, accuses him of treason, and blasts Insarn when she tries to defend them.
- Upon being given permission by Ackdos, he tries to kill them using his various powers.
- Taunted Ahim by mockingly asking her how she plans to avenge her parents and homeworld.
- While Ackdos Gill has done far worse, Zatsurig manages to stand out due to him managing to commit these acts without the backing of footsoldiers or Zangyack battleships, just his powers, thus using arguably lower resources than Basco or Zaien, who needed some extra help.
- Had a very deep impact despite appearing only in one episode.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He is genuinely loyal to Ackdos Gill and loyally and faithfully enforced all of his orders.
- He seems to care for Warz Gill as he personally offers to avenge his death.
Trivia[]
- His Power Rangers counterpart Yellzor is not NPE due to only appearing in one scene and having little characterization, as he disappears after Emperor Mavro declares to avenge his sons.
- He along with Emperor Ackdos Gill are the only two Near Pure Evils of Gokaiger.
