| ~ Zanramon threatening Professor Honeycutt. |
Zanramon is a major antagonist in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe. He was the Triceraton Prime Leader and one of the two main antagonists of the Triceraton Arc (alongside General Blanque).
In the 2003 TV series, he was voiced by David Brimmer.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- According to General Blanque, the Triceratons accidentally blew up their own home world. Considering his high position, it’s possible he was responsible for this.
- He had Mozar get information about the Teleportal device through General Blanque’s private aid, Lonae.
- He tried making Professor Honeycutt build the Teleportal device for him so he could use it to end the war with the Federation.
- While he did offer him protection from the Federation and full rights as a citizen of the Triceraton Republic, this was likely out of pragmatic reasons to convince him to build the Teleportal device.
- When he found out that the Turtles were his friends, he threatened to execute them to convince Honeycutt into building the Teleportal.
- Has sent many people to The Games, where they are forced to become contestants to fight monsters such as the Spasmosaur. He sent the Turtles there to help blackmail Honeycutt.
- What makes this worse is that said contestants are abused by task masters while they are not fighting, even using an electric whip to keep the gladiators in line.
- He is even willing to put Triceratons in the pit for speaking out against him like he did with Traximus.
- He invaded Earth when he thought Honeycutt was still on Earth, even destroying multiple military bases while doing so.
- Had his army kidnap civilians who were in close proximity when Honeycutt was teleported to Earth to force them to give them information he wanted.
- Rips the entire city of Beijing off the ground and threatens to “take their world apart piece by piece until nothing remains” if he wasn’t given Honeycutt.
- The city remained in the sky multiple episodes after the invasion, which makes him indirectly responsible for Utrom Shredder endangering the city by taking the antigravity generator.
- Defeated the Justice Force when the president sent them to stop him.
- Uses the Triceraton mind probe on Donatello to scan his memories to get information on Honeycutt. He was shown to be in pain when he had it on.
- Attacked and ripped Manhattan off the ground to threaten Dontello after the mind probe failed, believing his brothers were there.
- Unlike his 2012 incarnation, he doesn’t care about his followers at all, threatening Mazor’s life at one point if he didn’t bring him results, and when Honeycutt’s virus was spreading to his ships, wanted to cut-off all contact with the squadron that were affected by it, not caring if they are all left stranded, just to protect the rest of the fleet to finish the war.
- Wanted to attack the Federation while they were defenseless because of Honeycutt’s virus, which even Mozar thought was dishonorable and refused to follow along with.
- He and General Blanque were both indirectly responsible for Honeycutt’s (temporary) death as he had to sacrifice himself to stop their plans, specifically by placing a virus that stopped all Federation and Triceraton air fleets.
- Even after the Triceratons and the Federation became peaceful with one another, he still remained evil as he was continuing to argue with his rival, General Blanque, in a cell.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He fails the heinousness standards to the Counselor of the Brotherhood who traveled to multiple worlds and devoured all life on them and Utrom Shredder who, without the multiversal weaponary he gained in Turtles Forever, claimed millions of lives by starting multiple wars on different planets, was more personally evil to the protagonists, and has a worse method of trying to take over the universe, as he killed off all opposition, has enslaved his race to his will, and forced humanity to 18 hour labor camps. Resources don't help him as he has vast armies serving him and wanted the Teleportal device.
