The Yaoguai Twins are the main antagonists of the Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness episode "Eternal Chord". They're the twins of a dark race of creatures known as the Yaoguai that vow to bring the end of the universe.
They were voiced by Maurice LaMarche, who also voiced Sleet in Sonic Underground.
Their Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Them Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- The Twins are part of a race called the Yaoguai, seeking to eradicate the entire universe, even disguising themselves as ducks to help with their goals.
- Despite being twins, nothing indicates they personally care for one another.
- Looking for the fifth and final instrument of the Eternal Chord with them first being seen watching Master Lun’s musician’s performance.
- Engaged Po in combat trying to obtain Master Lun’s Eternal Chord Pipes from him, with the fight ending in them getting the pipes and chaining Po up.
- The Yaoguai Twins taunt Po many times, even suggesting that 'he must want us to fry him to a crisp' while demanding him to give them the pipes.
- They attempt to kill Po before Lun got in their way.
- They bounce on top of the massive drum; causing the other instruments to hover around them and play the 'Eternal Chord' song which the twins intend to alter so they can summon the 'Anti-Chord' and wipe out the universe.
- Alongside Ke-Pa, they are the most dangerous villains of the franchise because other Kung Fu Panda villains didn't plan to commit an omnicide.
What Prevents Them from Being Pure Evil?[]
- They have moral agency issues due to being part of a race that’s made of evil.
- They suffer from Fridge Horror as it isn't confirmed that extraterrestrial life exists in the series' setting, and their goals to kill everyone isn't taken with enough weight with characters even surviving their reality-destroying wormhole, which is unlike like Ke-Pa, where his crimes are taken with more weight.
