“ | I had a promising career lined up as a weapons engineer for Robotnik until you defeated him! Now my best option is to work as a weather forecaster! But this weather machine I've invented will bring me revenge! | „ |
~ Windy Wallis to Sonic. |
Windy Wallis is a minor antagonist in the comic series Sonic the Comic and its fan continuation Sonic the Comic Online! She is a gerbil inventor who used her weather control technology to gain popularity as a weather reporter, and later to get revenge on Mobius for having her dreams crushed.
Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
Sonic the Comic[]
- Prior to becoming an independent supervillainess, she worked as a weapons designer for Dr. Robotnik.
- Her grudge against Sonic and the entirety of Mobius for losing her job doesn't make her sympathetic, as not only she is willing to take out her anger on those who had nothing to do with it, but she was already evil to begin with.
- She used her weather machine to alter weather, endangering citizens, and then predict it with complete accuracy in order to get a prize for her reporting.
- When Sonic discovered that she was behind the chaotic weather, she attempted to summon a heat wave that would have destroyed everything on the planet, while simultaneously attempting to kill Sonic with a thunderstorm.
- Although attempted planet destruction is fairly common in Sonic the Comic series, Windy manages to stand out with the unusual brutality of her attempted mundicide, as well as her lesser resources compared to the likes of Emperor Metallix and Doctor Zachary taken into account.
- After her first defeat, she attempted to get revenge by subjecting Mobius to sudden and drastic temperature changes until it cracked.
- She created a fog in the Sun Valley Zone, which Agent X later lured Tails into to kill him there.
Sonic the Comic Online![]
- After joining the League of Super-Evil Villains, she and her partners attempted to rob the Metropolis Zone Bank.
- Although she, like the rest of the League, was played off as a joke villain in the group's first appearance, she recovers from it in later issues, being once again portrayed as a competent villain and treated more seriously in-universe.
- She and Doctor Genius took a Metropolis City University dean hostage and locked themselves inside. Had Tails and Amy not defeated them on their own, S.P.E.A.R. would have used nerve gas to take them out, which would likely kill their hostage as well.
- She and Genius, at Mr. Gold's request, converted several S.P.E.A.R. recruits into Cyberniks so that they would enforce Mr. Gold's order on Mobius. Although she was forced to do so in return for being spared by Gold, she doesn't express remorse for what she's done.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- She is played for laughs several times, notably during her defeat at the hands of Tails when she complains that Tails' doctor makes "heavy weather" of the fox beating her, and during her attempt to rob the bank, falsely believing that freezing the safe door would make it fragile. In her latest appearances, however, most of the humor involving her is limited to her snarking at her allies over their blunders rather than her own failures, meaning she's not too comedic in the long run.
