~ Warren Ampersand revealing his true colors. |
Warren Ampersand is a recurring antagonist in Adventure Time, serving a minor antagonist in season 6 and major antagonist in season 10.
He is Jake the Dog's alien father, who gave him his stretchy powers as a ploy so that when he eventually weakens by his age, he can just absorb the power of his children and leave them as husks.
He was first voiced by John DiMaggio and then by Dave Foley.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He infected Jake the Dog's father, Joshua, by biting him, causing him to be ill and give birth to Jake out of his head. Considering he did this without Joshua’s consent, this would technically make Warren a rapist, or something very close to one.
- As we know he's had many children in the past, and we've never seen any other way for him to have kids, it's highly likely that this rape is serial.
- Tried to kill Joshua's pregnant wife, Margaret, when she tracked him down to extract his venom as an antidote for her husband.
- Supposedly tricked many of his children by making a planet made of himself so that they could stretch enough to give him their stretchy powers through a belt, leaving them like lifeless husks.
- Even though he showed care for Jake when he was dying, he was still willing to leave him on an empty planet to die.
- He planned on killing all of Jake's children and draining their life energy as well.
- Overall, Warren stands out in the high heinous standard of Adventure Time, with his niche of draining countless numbers of his own offspring and turning them into lifeless husks.
- Although it has some moments a little ridiculous, like when you look with vanity in the mirror after absorbing some of Jake's youth. When The latter tricks him into taking off his belt and thus recovering his stolen youth, this still does not affect their crimes. Since they are very brief moments. The narrative still takes him seriously as the worst father.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He felt a slight amount of guilt for nearly draining Jake's life and tried to entertain him before he died, showing that he does somewhat care about him.
- However this is incredibly minor since he immediately proceeded to try to leave Jake to die alone on a empty planet afterwards for no real reason.
