His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He committed a crime in the past, which resulted with him being imprisoned.
- During his prison time, he raped other inmates.
- Shot innocent civilians in the bank after they set off an alarm and said they deserved it. This was just done out of bloodlust and he didn’t do this out of any strategy to help his crew, he just wanted to kill.
- Loves to torture and kill cops for fun because he hates cops. This is very petty as the police didn’t do anything that is not just doing their job.
- Didn’t care when Mr. Blue and Mr. Brown died, and Mr. Orange was severely wounded because of him.
- He kidnaps and sadistically tortures Officer Marvin Nash, who was an innocent officer merely doing his job and a parent, cutting his ear off and almost setting him ablaze while dancing as Marvin begs for his life, completely uncaring of his cries for mercy. He also indirectly caused Marvin’s death through kidnapping him, since after Vega’s death, Nash was stuck tied up with no way to escape and was later shot and killed by nice guy Eddie.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He was genuinely loyal to his boss Joe Cabot and his friend Eddie, and refusing to sell the two out to the police even when it would have gotten him out of jail and showing to be affable towards them during his recruitment. Thus friendship is what leads Eddie to not believe Mr. White’s lie that Vic was the mole.
- Despite his psychopathy and sadism, Vic shows genuine disgust and annoyance over Mr. Pink’s refusal to tip waitresses, showing some light amount of standards.
Trivia[]
- His relations with his brother Vincent Vega, who appears in Pulp Fiction, is debatable, it's unknown about their relations, since they never interacted on screen.
- That said, Quentin Tarantino planned at some point in making a crossover film called The Vega Brothers starring Michael Madsen as Victor and John Travolta as Vincent, reprising their roles from Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction respectively. Tarantino ultimately didn't make the film because both Victor and Vincent died onscreen and due to their actors aging. Had the film been produced, it could have affected Victor's status as Near Pure Evil.
- The only thing that is known of the plot for said cancelled film, is that while Vincent was in Amsterdam, Vic came to visit him. That could mean that Vic possibly cared for his brother, however considering that it just said and with no other points, could also mean that he may had some pragmatic or other hidden reasons to visit him.

- His Payday 2 version can't count as Near Pure Evil since the only scene he did was villainous was torturing Marvin Nash.
