Greenbeard

Beware of this greedy ghost pirate!

Hello, to my third proposal, this one is a discussion, so let's talk about this one shall we?

What's The Work?[]

Cruise is a Roblox game made by Ponchoking Games, and the second spinoff game in the Airplane series after Castle, today we're talking about this greedy ghost pirate.

Who's Greenbeard and what has he done?[]

He is the main antagonist of the game. So we first see his glowing green ship, and when the player(s) go to the bathroom to get a keycard, they find some mysterious message saying "give it back", implying that Greenbeard wrote it given of how greedy he is. When the player(s) tell such message on the bathroom to Jack, it disappears out of nowhere, and Jack says they may need rest, telling them they have dinner with the captain tomorrow. He then actually appears in the morning when the player(s) are in a arcade, and tells them to give something back to him. He then sends his pirates to attack them.

He then tells them it's their last chance, and tells them to throw the golden necklace or else. They then see him again along with Jack, when they escape the prison cells where Captain Smith locked them there. He calls them foolish, and tells them who he is and he is the captain of the ship, the Darkpearl, and tells them they stole a piece of his cursed treasure, he hypocritically tells them that their greed will be their death, and tells them they had their chance, and tells them he is taking back what's rightfully his, then disappears and then breaks the pipes, trying to sink the ship. In the 4 endings, for the first/good ending, when dropping the necklace into the water, Greenbeard appears and tells them that his treasure, the necklace, is back, and the cruise is turned back to normal. In the bad one, he fights the player(s), first sending his minions to attack them, but they are beaten, and he fights them himself, but ends up defeated by them, and tells to them if Poseidon can't take their soul, he'll take Captain Smith's instead, the player(s) and Jack escape via a lifeboat, and the cruise ship burns and drowns, with Greenbeard's and the captain's fates unknown.

For the secret and evil endings, we don't know what really happened to him when he tried to sink the ship, though, the player in the evil ending, burns it when harnessing the golden necklace.

What Makes Him Close into Being Pure Evil?[]

So... To begin with, the guy had tried to sunk a cruise ship that was full of innocent people, and calls the player(s) greedy, when he himself, is that, which just makes him a huge hypocrite, and literally tried to drown a ship full of people so he can get his necklace back, and only likely spared the player(s) and Jack so he can have his necklace, not out of honor.

Mitigating Factors?[]

Eh, I don't think so, he is just a pirate who likes money and while he did leave the ship, the player(s) and Jack unharmed in the good ending when getting back his golden necklace, I don't think this is really mitigating as he just wanted his necklace back, and nothing implies he spared them out of honor, he clearly only spared them just so he can get back his necklace, and is a big hypocrite for calling the player(s) greedy, when he himself is that.

Heinous Standard[]

So, Skeletox had corrupted Ronald, and made him destroy a lot of planes filled with innocent people, to kill them, and Ronald helping him in these schemes where he thought Skeletox would revive his parents (clearly Skeletox tricked him into doing this), but Ronald is heinous enough with the very fact he had helped Skeletox to straight up crash planes and kill their passengers, heck, Skeletox himself admits he has crashed planes and killed their passengers before, however, I feel Greenbeard does stand out since he's less powerful than Skeletox as the guy is very clearly the Grim Reaper, and thus has high resources, even then, Greenbeard had tried to sink a cruise filled with innocent people, so I feel this is enough for him to stand out compared to Skeletox.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

Honestly, I feel he just doesn't pass the standard, as while it's unfair to compare this guy to Skeletox as that guy is clearly Death straightup, as he can collect souls, and is very clearly demonic in nature, however, I feel Greenbeard fails to Ronald, who tried to crash 3 planes and attempted to kill their passengers, while Greenbeard had only tried to destroy one cruise ship and kill the people in it, making him fail the standards to Ronald very slightly, as Ronald has a more higher attempted kill count than Greenbeard via trying to kill people in 3 planes, while Greenbeard tried to destroy only a cruise ship, so his attempted kill count is not high enough compared to Ronald.

Verdict[]

You decide.
