Hello, everyone, Happy Birthday to me, and welcome to my twenty-third Near Pure Evil Proposal and my first Silly candidate. If you looked at the proposal I made in the past, you'll notice that I haven't really proposed any Silly candidates yet and that's because I was saving this guy to be my first one, and it's my birthday (in which I'm turning 18) on top of that, so this will be even more special.
Our candidate for today/night is the evil clone with the godlike power of lotion, Evil Computer, from The Daily Object Show. Without further ado, let's get into it.
What's The Work?
The Daily Object Show is a 2020 object show created by FusionAnimations (and probably my favorite object show, would highly recommend it), with the whole gimmick of the series being that episodes come out on daily basis (though as the series went on, the episodes would take more than a day to make). There are two types of seasons; the competition seasons where a small group of anthropomorphic objects compete in challenges on Computer's, the show's main protagonist and host's, show for various kinds of... lotions and sometimes other stuff, while also usually having to stop a villain who is either there to steal the prize, get revenge on Computer for whatever reason or both. And the story-focused seasons where there is no competition at all and the focus is entirely on Computer and whoever else is caught up in the situation having to stop villains who tend to pose a threat to the entire world. There are also Mini seasons and a few cannon shorts too.
Who Is He? What Has He Done?
Evil Computer, later known as Evil Computer Supreme, is the main antagonist of the 2020 YouTube animated web series, The Daily Object Show made by FusionAnimations.
He is an evil clone of the show's protagonist and host, Computer, created by Cringe Pill's cloning machine Scat messed with. He seeks to kill Computer and take over the titular show from him by any means necessary, including recruiting several of Computer's enemies to help him after his initial plan failed. He would eventually gain power from the Lotions and betray his minions, becoming Evil Computer Supreme and trying one more time to destroy Computer. He is also Computer' arch-nemesis.
The Daily Object Show
Evil Computer was created when Cringe Pill used his cloning machine (which he built to win the second challenge only for it to be messed up by Scat, who sabotaged it to win the contest himself) to create a clone of Computer. While noting seemingly happened at first, Evil Computer would spawn in a desert away from the competition and makes it his mission to destroy Computer and take over his competition. He appears again in the next episode to enact this plan, presenting himself as Computer's "son", Computer II, and gets to be his co-host... until he reveals himself after the elimination, after which Computer makes it a challenge to get rid of him and Card does so with her confetti cannon.
Evil Computer wouldn't stay gone for good though, as he would return with Evil Blood Bag, an evil clone of Blood Bag created at the same time as Evil Computer due to Blood Bag being inside of Computer when he was shot with the cloning machine, who he has ambush Card in the woods looking for the Really Good Smelling Lotion. The heroes try to fight them off, but they are just too strong for them to defeat. Luckily, Water Bottle shows up with the Really Good Smelling Lotion just in time to stop them by having the two smell it's essence and go crazy over it, so crazy in fact that they manage to somehow fly to the sun in an attempt to retrieve it after Water Bottle threw it there to get rid of them. The fairly obvious outcome happens and the two of them become spirits and end up in the Astral Plain, a place that serves as limbo for spirits who didn't end up in Heaven or Hell. They remain here for a while and acquire several new allies as the seasons progress, who just so happen to also hate Computer, and plot their revenge.
The Daily Object Show: Beach Battle
Evil Computer introduces Cigar, Computer's latest enemy to the Astral Plane and explains his plan (which he got from Cobalt Blue) to get all of the Smelling Lotions so that they could become Super Objects and enact their revenge on Computer. He tasks each of his minions to retrieve one of the Lotions, except Evil Blood Bag, having a special assignment for him. He sends him to investigate surges of evil energy coming from the evil cloning machine and destroy whoever's causing them, leading to the entire event of the season.
One cool Evil Blood Bag story arc later, Evil Blood Bag returns to Evil Computer in the Astral Plane with the Really Chaotic Smelling Lotion where everyone else returned as well after getting their respective Lotions. They all go to the top of Cobalt Mountain to start the ritual by pouring the Lotions and causing a beam of light to appear. Evil Computer enters the beam first and everyone else does the same, giving them all powers of Super Objects. Now they can finally exact their revenge on Compu- ...oh. So yeah, as it turns out, Evil Computer was playing his allies for fools the whole time and has now decided to steal their powers and turn them into nigh-mindless puppets, even Evil Blood Bag, who was kind of his brother due to being created the same. With that, we transition into the next season.
The Daily Object Show: All-Stars
Throughout the season, Computer keeps seeing what seem to be hallucinations of his past enemies (which are actually Evil Computer's nigh-mindless puppets). One of these happens to be Evil Blood Bag, whom he decides to follow into a nearby cave, wandering what he's up to this time. From there Evil Computer reveals himself and knocks Computer back to...
The Daily Object Show: Evil Never Dies
...The area where the competition just ended, now calling himself Evil Computer Supreme. He then reveals how he's become so powerful before going on a rampage and killing a lot of people in the surrounding area. Computer tries to stop him, but he proves no match for Evil Computer Supreme, who calls him out for all of his reckless actions throughout the series before killing him, much to the shock of the contestants. Fire Alarm tries to stop him by driving his car into him, but fails, after which Evil Computer shows respect for his attempt before sending his minions to gather up the best people in the town for his object show and kill the rest. His plan doesn't go well, as everyone brought in was killed by him already, much to Evil Computer's frustration.
As the town is under terror and scouted by Evil Computer's puppets, the Season 1 contestants and a few from other seasons are hiding in the abandoned Super Object's Headquarters, wondering what to do now that Computer is dead. Cringe Pill then gets the idea to use his time machine to travel back in time to save Computer from being killed, but says they need a rare mineral known as Timeinium to get it to work. One visit to Cigar's hideout and encounter with him later, the Season 1 contestants get the mineral and go back in time to the moment before Evil Computer Supreme killed Computer to get him off his menu. That's Right! They went back in time to the moment before Evil Computer Supreme killed Computer to get him off his menu! They manage to save him just in the nick of time, but Evil Computer's puppets latch onto their machine, traveling with them to the time of the Super Objects.
While the group is back in the past waiting to gain their powers from the Super Objects (who will sacrifice themselves for the greater good), back in the present, Evil Computer revives all of the people he's killed and starts to question them about what happened with Computer. Tablet Pen and Meatball escape his prison via the formers portal creation into... an actual prison and Evil Computer kills a bunch of people hiding in a treehouse that fell due to a broke branch in the past. Tablet Pen and Meatball than meet a rebellion comprised of the contestants from the TDOS Mini seasons and decide to join them in their fight against Evil Computer. They launch an attack on him with Plus distracting him while the rest free his prisoners. Unfortunately, he manages to overpower them by destroying Cobalt Mountain and crushing him with it before returning to the contestants to re-capture them all except Tablet Pen, who he weaponize and use his portal generating powers to access other worlds.
Using his newfound device, he brings several objects from other worlds to act as his new League of Super Objects and plans to use them to kill Computer. Speaking of whom, he returns with his allies and Evil Computer's henchman, not free from his control and on their side, and go to confront him after he causes Airplane to crash-land into a forest. He then reveals his plan to travel to other worlds and destroy the once which's inhabitants refuse to be a part of his object show before he gets punched into a newly rebuilt house from the first episode and loses his weapon. After Evil Blood Bag calls him out on betraying them, Evil Computer kills him and sends his multiversal army to kill Computer and everyone standing with him, starting the final battle The final battle. After all of his minions are defeated and Evil Computer gets out of his slapstick fight with the Season 1 contestants, he engages in a multiversal fight where he becomes victories and manages to kill Computer again. As he celebrates his victory and denounces his plans for multiversal conquest, he orders the contestants (now part of his object show) to throw his remains in the trash in exchange for Normal Pill's normal pills, Computer's spirit returns and manages to finally put Evil Computer down for good (not without some resistance from him, of course) and restore peace to their world.
Mitigating Factors.
| “ | Evil Computer: I wanna thank you all for making me a super object. With this power, I can defeat Computer, and get revenge once and for all. However, what's the fun in stopping there? If I had 5 times this power, I can rule this entire planet! Cobalt Blue: You what? Skull: Plot twist! Evil Blood Bag: But, Boss, at least take me with you. We were created the same, Evil Computer. We're like... brothers! Evil Computer: You are so gullible. All you've been to me was a pawn. A disposable henchman that I knew would follow my every command. Now, I will steal your powers, and REIGN SUPREME!!! |

| ~ Evil Computer sure is evil. |
Almost nothing. Evil Computer is a sadistic psychopath who more than lives up to his name, evidently having no care for his minions given what he was willing to do to them and will stop at nothing to destroy Computer. While he didn't go through with his multiversal plot he only did so because he killed Computer and had no reason to go further any more.
You could maybe argue that he has agency issues due to being an evil clone created from a faulty cloning machine, but this isn't the case because Evil Blood Bag, his brother and a clone just like him, redeemed himself after being freed from his control. Not to mention, he is capable of having redeeming qualities as shown below and Toast Mini and Sketch Pad, who were also created by the machine exist and aren't evil (or in the case of the former, not anymore).
Heinous Standard.
The Daily Object Show has... A heinous standard. Like, most of the major villains aren't super heinous with them being either out to try to conquer the world, simply get revenge on Computer for their own reasons or both, and the minor villains aren't even worth mentioning. To give you a quick rundown on them:
- Evil Blood Bag is the series secondary antagonist and Blood Bag's evil clone. He is seen generally assisting Evil Computer in his plan to destroy Computer and gets his time to shine in Beach Battle where he took control of Bomb's body (whom would later sacrifice himself because of him) and despawned over two dozen evil mini clones just so he could get the Really Chaotic Smelling Lotion from Computer and also planned to use his newfound army to conquer the world.
- Cobalt Blue is the series' Grater Scope Villain and an artificially created, former Super Object. He betrayed his fellow Super Objects under a delusion that he was the savior of object-kind by brainwashing several objects with his Cobalt Fumes and ravaging several towns after rightfully being exiled, created a cult meant for reviving himself by brainwashing the soon-to-be Season 1 contestants as well as Skull, Computer, a crowd of people witnessing the Night of Purity and intended to do this to the entire world and conquer it, told Evil Computer and the rest of Computer's enemies about how he became a Super Object and retrieved the Really Good Smelling Lotion from the Sun. I've been on the fence on whether or not to propose him for here or not, and after thinking about it some more, I determined that he relies on Fridge Horror with his brainwashing, as his victims, while said by himself to be powerless to stop him and conscious in these states... aren't really shown to suffer while stuck in his Mindscape and the brainwashing has no lasting damage either, with the rest of his actions being bog-standard.
- Skull is Computer's best friend and the main antagonist of the third season, Daily Dash. After missing out on the Galactus event in Fortnite the night he and Computer went on Cobalt Mountain, he sought to get revenge on Computer by stealing the Evil Cloning Machine, sneaking onto Airplane and kidnapping the Tiny Tacos (who are children) and holding them hostage to get Computer's attention, and when everyone arrived at Sydney, Australia, tried to send his evil clones to kill Computer and the contestants, later teamed up with Evil Computer to help him become a Super Object, with him and Cigar killing Moonlight, Nori and Spoon to get the Really Bad Smelling Lotion. None of his crimes pass the baseline and him assisting Evil Computer is shared with multiple other people, making him bog-standard.
- Airplane is the secondary antagonist of Daily Dash as well as the transport used to travel to the various locations in the season. She stole the Really Bad Smelling Lotion as revenge for Computer not letting her into the season, left him and the contestants in Hvannadalshnúkur, Iceland in the process and helped Evil Computer become a Super Object, with her killing Meatball to get the Really Neutral Smelling Lotion. Like Skull, she is bog-standard and might even be the least heinous of all of the major villains in the series.
- Toast was a contestant on the fourth season, Real Life Battle, and the titular main antagonist of the fifth season, Revenge of Toast. After being used as a piece of bread for a sandwich by Post-It, covered in jelly, left disfigured by Mr. Human and getting new jelly powers, she sought to get revenge on her former friends, Computer and the world by creating a machine that would turn everyone on Earth into jellified zombies. She, like Cobalt Blue, relies on Fridge Horror (arguably even more so than him) as, aside from a split second image of two people being covered in jelly and having their eyes turn white, there's no indication the zombification (hey that rhymed) is painful and also has no negative lasting effects like Cobalt's brainwashing.
- Cigar is the town's mafia boss and the main antagonist of the sixth season, Mafioso Mayhem. He sent his workers to pose as contestants on the season and get the Really Neutral Smelling Lotion from Computer due to him not paying the full price for it in the prior season, is a bad boss to his workers, killing Shoe with his il bacio della morte (kiss of death) when he had second thoughts about helping him and keeping the Lotion for himself and threatens Envelope, Magma Bucket and Meat Ball with the same fate if they don't kill Computer and later helped Evil Computer become a Super Object, with him and Skull killing Moonlight, Nori and Spoon to get the Really Bad Smelling Lotion. As with the last few, he's bog-standard for the same reasons.
Not the most impressive thing in the world, so it should be no surprise that Evil Computer sets the heinous standards. Now admittedly, I had a bit of an issue with Evil Computer's heinousness in the past due to his high resource count, as the guy not only has god-like powers, but also had access to Tablet Pen, who he was planning to use to go to other universes and was willing to destroy them if its inhabitants refused to be on his object show. Sounds pretty bad right? Well, it would be... if he didn't decide to go back on his plan after killing Computer despite being perfectly capable of recapturing Tablet Pen. And even now... I still don't this would allow him to pass.
So if this doesn't push him far enough, what does? Literally everything else. For starters, Evil Computer has by far the highest kill count in the series. While Evil Blood Bag has more permanent victims thanks to all of the evil mini clones he's despawned, Evil Computer has the highest overall body count with 64 people, one of whom is a child and the other is his brother, who dies permanently alongside Computer. But by far the worst thing he does is betray his minions and put them in Fates Worse Than Death by turning them into his nigh-mindless puppets, which is given more weight than Cobalt and Toast's brainwashing, given how they describe it as horrible and redeem themselves after being freed, losing any desire to be evil and help Computer defeat him. There's also the fact he is Computer's most personal enemy and planned to rule the world in a pretty bad way on top of that, asking his minions to kill people who aren't good enough for his object show.
With everything, I'd say Evil Computer stands out pretty well.
Is He Silly Enough?
He sure is. For starters, his goal is literally to become what's essentially a god through... magical Lotions and his main motivation for this is so he could kill Computer and create his own object show. Beyond this ridiculous concept, there are a ton of moments where he's played for laughs and, unsurprisingly given his name, a lot of jokes about him being evil, even in the final season where he's at his most serious, such as successfully tricking Computer and the Season 1 contestants by claiming he's "Computer II" his defeat in the first season where he and Evil Blood Bag fly towards the sun to get the Really Good Smelling Lotion, Spoon stealing his wallet and car keys while he wasn't looking when he questioned about where Computer is, the scene where he murders a bunch of people from a fallen treehouse with the joke being that the tree disappeared because of a branch Water Bottle accidently broke, everything about his multiversal army, him getting punched into a rebuilt house after he reveals his plans and the final battle involving him getting into slapstick such as being smacked with a surfboard, launched in the air with a confetti cannon and a shirt that says "I'd FLEX but I like this shirt." with the word "cringe" being echoed and having a whale dropped on him. Even his one redeeming quality is a joke about how this otherwise irredeemable guy with god-like abilities shows respect to a random character trying to stop him before going back to being evil.
That said, he is taken very seriously in-universe, especially in the final season. As soon as he enters the scene, the sky goes red and everything becomes darker (though not by much) and everyone starts to take him extremely seriously most of the time. To give you an idea of how much of a thrat he is presented as, not only do the Super Objects, the Bigger Goods of the series, despite only hearing about him, decide to sacrifice their own lives to ensure Computer and the Season 1 contestants have a chance to stop him, but Computer, who doesn't take most of the villains trying to kill him or situations he finds himself in seriously, sees Evil Computer as a threat that must be stopped no matter what.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Evil?
| “ | That was... pretty cool. A pretty god way to go out. Almost like... a hero. | „ |
| ~ Don't you just love it when otherwise irredeemable characters have a one off redeeming quality. |
As.. well evil Evil Computer is does have one redeeming quality, that being that he shows respect towards Fire Alarm, considering his attempt at stopping him and the way he went out cool and akin to heroic. And while this does end up not happening due to the Season 1 contestants meddling and saving Computer, I don't think this is enough to subvert it as it likely still would've happen if he did manage to kill Computer.
Final Verdict?
I'd give him a solid yes, but what do you think?
