What is the Work?[]
Tom Tom: White Night is a Graphic MSP, a series of graphic novels from various artists decipting the Monica's Gang universe in different genres of stories and artstyles. It focus on Tom Tom, the local indigenous focused character of the franchise, in a horror setting, where he has to save his tribe from the titular monsters: the White Night.
Who is him/it? What does he do?[]
An ancient evil that plagues the Amazon Forest, the White Night is an army of grotesque, orc-like pale zombies that raid tribes, turn all of the men in there in monsters like them, and feed off the women and children. Despite being treated as a force of nature and hostile species, the creatures are led by a single mind; the original possessor of this unexplained evil power and the one being proposed here.
Basically, a long time ago, an European ship crashed in a Brazillian beach, and its only survivor was this strange man, who had the strenght of several full grown adults and fed off members of the tribe that rescued him. With an effort, he was brought down, and the shaman told the chief to kill him, and separate his head from his body, before burning it all down. The chief did as ordered... eeexcept that, impressed by his physical feats, the chief ate his heart, believing he would be granted his strenght, before burning the body.
Then, his soul was extinguished, and the mysterious overseas man lived on in the chief's body. He kept his attacks, but now, turning all of the men killed into his assimilated lookalikes, an army of zombies that started raiding multiple of the various indigenous tribes of the Amazon forest. They would always choose one warrior to warn in dreams of the upcoming attack, for no reason other than to cause more fear across the tribe, then inevitably massacred them. This one pre-warned warrior would be left alive to wander, broken, warning other tribes of the danger, so their reputation could spread.
It wasn't until they raided the village of Tom Tom, a teenage boy, that their luck started to change, as, aided by Cobra Grande and Honorato (literal deities of Brazillian mythology) the warrior, imbued with powers of the nature, dangerous to the White Night, who "distanced themsleves from nature as much as possible", ended defeating them, saving the captured women and children, and purifying all of the warriors. The men of his tribe got good and well, while those from others, whose bodies could no longer be saved, passed on peacefully.
Mitigating Factors?[]

It doesn't get much less FH than this...
It absolutely has personality. While we mostly see the army, the leader specifically talks to Tom Tom, showing a cruel and inhuman personality, absolutely thriving on breaking spirits and hope, saying with all words that the boy would not save anyone.
Comedic moments? There are barely more than three or four in the entire comic, much less about the villain itself. Everything about him is played for seriousness and horror.
Fridge Horror is also not a problem. Them killing hundreds can be seen in the opening prologue, and by the fact that their sheer numbers is basically all of the men killed since the start of the attacks. And all of the women and children that lived with those men... yeah, I think you get it, FH is not an issue.
Admirable Standarts?[]
Not a problem when you set them and is the only villain. Like, literally, there is not even a bully character or anything. Sure, they are an army, but it is made clear that all of this mess started because of the mysterious cursed man, who took control of the chief's body when that man ate his heart, and is commanding the members of his army (all completely zombified men of destroyed tribes with no real will) all to satisfy his hunger and bloodlust.
What prevents him from Pure Evil?[]
Whatever the original White Night was up to prior to getting on Brazillian shores is unknown, but it is explicitly stated that, "no matter what ran in his veins, it was, rather than blood, pure evil". Even if more details aren't given, this just makes the situation worse. In resume, it is heavily implied that this man is "Made of Evil" because of the curse. Sure, his utterly sadistic personality and heinous crimes make this a severely minor prevention. Still a prevention, nonetheless.
