Did you forget who I am? How I got to be the boss of bosses? I'm here 'cause I'm the baddest of the bad. Everybody who ever stood in my way is dead. Everybody!
~ Utraman to Lex Luthor
That leaves the governments of the world with two choices: bow down to us or die.
~ Ultraman

Ultraman is the secondary antagonist of Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths.

He is the evil doppleganger of Superman and leader of the Crime Syndicate that destroyed their world's Justice League and built a doomsday device to blackmail their Earth into fully surrendering to them or destroy it if humanity refused. He is the archenemy of Lex Luthor.

He was voiced by Brian Bloom.

His Evil Rankings[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • By his own admission, he's a card-carrying villain that has massarced any and everyone that stood in his way.
  • As the leader of the Crime Syndicate, he led the organization in destroying Luthor's Justice League.
  • As shown in flashbacks during Rose's and Martian Manhunter's mind meld, he assassinated Rose's mother/the First Lady with his heat vision.
  • He and the syndicate terrorized their world virtually unopposed for years with world goverments adopting a policy of appeasement to prevent millions of lives from being risked by going to war with the syndicate.
    • The only reason Ultraman didn't completely overthrow the governments was because of the threat of a nuclear response.
  • He led the Crime Syndicate in constructing the QED for his plan to annihilate the world if humanity refused to bend the knee to him.
  • He nearly burned Lex Luthor alive with his heat vision all while bragging about the deaths he'd caused.
  • Despite President Wilson ordering his release, he traveled to the White House to brutally slap him (drawing blood), mock his wife's death at his hands, and threatened to do the same to his daughter if she didn't stop speaking out against the syndicate.
    • He soon followed up on said threat against Rose's life.
  • He only "helped" save the multiverse from Owlman to save his own skin and said "help" only consisted of not fighting the heroes while they did the actual work of saving the multiverse. Once that's over, he mocks Johhny Quick's sacrifice and resumes his villainy before being forced to surrender by President Wilson and his marines carrying nukes.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil[]

  • He clearly fails the Heinous Standards to Owlman and Superwoman, both of whom nearly destroyed the entire multiverse with the QED.
  • He has some care for J'edd J'arkus and his universe's Jimmy Olsen, holding a moment of silence for the former after he died and demanding Superman get his hands "off my boy" in the case of the latter.

Trivia[]

  • He's the first and only NPE in the film.
