Trina is a recurring antagonist of the Disney XD animated TV series Big Hero 6: The Series. She is an android built by Obake. She serves as the main antagonist of the Season 2 finale "Legacies".

She was voiced by Christy Carlson Romano.

Her Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

In General[]

  • She's arguably much more evil than her father Obake because while Obake has moral agency issues, well-intentioned extremist goals and ultimately shows remorse for his crimes, Trina displays almost none of these qualities and is overall a selfish supervillain that just wants to take over the world.
  • She is the only robot in this series to have a clear moral agency since she knows what is right from wrong but chooses to do wrong anyway. This is proven when Hiro and even Baymax give her chances to walk away from her dark path but she rejects them all.
  • Although she was legitimately affable towards Hiro at the start, such as preventing him from getting caught by Yama, complimenting him on his bot fighting skills and wishing him good luck, she subverted all of this once he learned her true nature as the instigator of the bots committing crimes across San Fransokyo and was straight-up hostile towards him from then on.
  • She doesn’t care about her own creations, the Buddy Guardians, since she does not mourn any of their deaths or show any shock when the last of them turn good thanks to Tadashi’s healthcare chips. The fact that she built them and had them enforce her plans likely makes them extensions of herself.
  • Unlike her father Obake who willingly teams up with other villains, she doesn't even bother hiring anybody other than Noodle Burger Boy, outright calling those other villains Diane Amara turned into monsters losers (she’s not wrong though since most if not all of them intentionally turned into monsters, but this makes her very selfish nonetheless).
  • Despite Big Hero 6's high heinous standards, Trina stands out as the evilest character in the show due to creating Buddy Guardians that are intended to endanger and then kill several people across San Fransokyo. She's also fully aware of Obake's plans and wants to put them into further action. Additionally, she tried melting all of San Fransokyo, which would burn everybody if they're exposed to it for too long, so none of these crimes suffer from Fridge Horror.
  • While Obake and Diane Amara were more heinous, they have more resources, with Obake having years and years of gaining intelligence, Diane Amara having lots of wealth, and both making alliances with several villains, while Trina is just a robot that just has herself, Noodle Burger Boy, and the Buddy Guardians, and she used them all to their full potential. She's also the most personal since she wanted to get the main protagonists killed for very petty reasons.

Season 1[]

  • She is responsible for brainwashing several robots to commit crimes across the city and framing several innocent civilians for them after she gets trinkets from them, with there being no proof any of these were under Obake's orders.
  • After Hiro found out about her true character, she had her bots attack Big Hero 6.
  • She spies on Hiro and reports several information about him to Obake for his plans.

Season 2[]

  • After finding Big Hero 6 at Krei Tech in an attempt to find Noodle Burger Boy, she brutally beats them all up.
  • She prevented Hiro from removing Noodle Burger Boy's Obake chip.
  • She made a deal with Krei Tech so that she can make Buddy Guardians and Krei Tech for her plans. This allowed Chief Cruz to use them to arrest Big Hero 6 temporarily.
    • This also made Alistair Krei a scapegoat in the long run due to everybody running away from trucks he didn't even have knowledge of. In a way, this also influenced Noodle Burger Boy to corrupt other robots in Season 3.
  • She reveals to Hiro that she intends on destroying San Fransokyo and all of its citizens with the Buddy Guardians with her upcoming Robot Revolution.
  • She has her Buddy Guardians kidnap Chief Cruz's daughter Megan after she saved all of the police officers' lives. This caused Chief Cruz to have a change of heart over superheroes.
  • She has the Krei Tech Trucks as well as her own gauntlets unleash lasers all around San Fransokyo to slowly melt everything and disable all of the electricity.
  • She disables Baymax, which causes Hiro to retaliate by calling Roddy Blair and Minimax to unleash Megamax and knock her down.
  • She threatens everybody in San Fransokyo to surrender to her and her Buddy Guardians, where there being no proof she will even keep her word on sparing them considering how they have endangered people in the first place.
  • Once the last of her army was gone, she tries to kill Hiro one last time before Hiro finally has her detained with his own mini magnets. And she would’ve killed him if his magnets did not stop her.
  • Unlike Obake, she does not show any remorse for her actions once Hiro apprehends her and continues to berate him for holding her back on her mission before she ultimately gets incarcerated, presumably for life.

What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • She genuinely cares about her father since she was very loyal to him and wanted to avenge his death, as well as the fact that she was saddened he dismantled her, before turning the blame towards Hiro for supposedly causing his death to happen, and it was played for minor sympathy despite not justifying her actions.
  • Despite abusing him from time to time, she cares about her brother Noodle Burger Boy since she was upset over him leaving in the first place which caused her to try to fix herself on her own and when Baymax launched him into space and once again turned the blame towards Hiro.

Trivia[]

  • She, along with Diane Amara are the only Big Hero 6 villains to be Near Pure Evil, and she serves as the most evil character in the show.
    • Coincidentally, both have their most heinous acts in Season 2 as well.
