Evan MacMillan, best known as the Trapper, is one of the playable killers in Dead by Daylight. He was a wealthy heir who snapped after being used as an enforcer by his abusive father. He is the main mascot of the series.

He is voiced by Filip Ivanovic, who also voiced Ghost Face in the same game.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?

• Helped his father abuse all his employees, whether it was beating or even killing them.
• On his father's orders, he lured over a hundred men into a pit which he sealed with explosives and then blew it up, in what was called the worst mass murder in modern history.
• Is implied to have killed his father by breaking his legs with a mining hammer, locking him up in a basement and leaving him to starve to death, though to be fair he did deserve it.
• After being noticed and taken by the Entity into its realm, he started sacrificing survivors like any other killer.
• Despite the high Heinous Standard, the Trapper still passes due to having one of the highest kill counts.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?

• He is a sympathetic character, as he lived under an abusive father who beat him and refused to let him do or have anything that would distract him, including friends. He had to watch as his father mistreated some of the workers he had befriended, causing him to have a conflict of who to stay loyal to, only to learn that his father killed his mom and uncle. When he found out his "friends" sold him out to Mr. MacMillan, Evan fully gave in to following his father's orders until he snapped and presumably murdered his father, only to be taken by the Entity.
• He had genuine love for his mother and uncle, mourning their deaths and being horrified at the fact his father killed them. Additionally, he did have genuine respect for his father despite the abuse he suffered at his hands.
