The Mawgu is the main antagonist of Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island. He is the archenemy of the Wise Old Hermit's people.
He was voiced by Fred Tatasciore, who also voiced Gatō in the English dub of Naruto, Warden Kuril in Mass Effect 2, the Red Hulk in The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, an armored Lord Dominator in Wander Over Yonder, Carnage in Ultimate Spider-Man, Diego Gómez in Resident Evil: Vendetta, Shao Kahn in the Mortal Kombat Legends films and Dr. Ludvig Maxis in Call of Duty: Zombies.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He tried to suck the life out of all the Nicktoons worlds and destroy them, which would have killed countless innocents.
- He tries to do this in order to corrupt the island and its people and reshape the island in his own image.
- He Corrupted and turned King Gorge into a feral monster. He built a dam in a river that prevents the water flowing through the Florain's village. With the river stopped flowing, the water was turned to an ooze and many inhabitants have turned corrupted and arrogant including the king, while indirectly making him enslave Florians as his tribes and kidnapping The Queen of the Myrmec.
- Despite having very little screentime, he is given clear characterization.
- While he had comedic moment in his cameo in Attack of the Toybots, where he competes on a gameshow and gets annoyed by Professor Calamitous's toybots and knocks itself out while trying to punch it,it doesn’t affect his crimes.

- Him destroying the Nicktoons' worlds relies too much on Fridge Horror to make him stand out.
