The Grand Duke of Owls is the main antagonist in the 1991 Don Bluth animated film Rock-a-Doodle.
He is a vampiric owl and he is the leader of the other owls. He hates his nephew, Hunch.
He was voiced by the late Christopher Plummer, who also voiced Charles F. Muntz in Up.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Caused Chanticleer to get banished, also causing the sun to never shine again.
- Turned Edmond into a cat, so he could eat him.
- Furthermore, in the extended soundtrack version of the Duke's song "We Hate the Sun", he mentioned that he tried to choke Edmond until his brains came out, making this attempt even worse.
- Abuses his nephew, Hunch to the point where he would kill him if he didn't kill Edmond, Patou, Snipes, and Peepers.
- Attempted to eat Chanticleer's old friends from the farm for dinner.
- Crushes Chanticleer, preventing him from moving.
- Uses his magic breath on Edmond, strangling him into unconsciousness.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He has some comedic moments that detract from him being PE, but his comical moments don't happen often and also don't detract completely from his heinousness.
