You should've listened, Freddy. You know deep down that this is right.
~ The Chief to Freddy.
We must all make sacrifices to do what's right.
~ The Chief to Freddy.

Golden Freddy, better known as the Chief, is the secondary antagonist of The Special Strike series created by TheHottest Dog.

He is the chief of the Shadow Army, which seeks to capture and destroy all universes. He's the friend-turned-archenemy of Freddy Fazbear and Springtrap.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • After learning from Glitchtrap that his universe is "wrong" and he and his friends should be scary, he teamed up with him to destroy all universes and make things how they are supposed to.
  • He kidnapped Springtrap so the two could team up.
  • He kidnapped Fredbear and took his suit for himself before leaving him to rot.
  • He, Springtrap and secretly Glitchtrap would create the Shadow Army, with intentions of capturing and destroying all universes.
  • He viewed the General as junk and that giving him a second form would be wasting resources despite being one of his most loyal soldiers (until his redemption, and that was while the Chief was temporarily dead).
  • He ordered some of the Shadow Droids to kidnap Fredbear and get rid of his voice box after he interrupted them in creating RXQ and the General.
  • He created a gigantic, laser-shooting mecha, which was the breaking point for Springtrap and what caused him to leave the Shadow Army.
  • He ordered the Shadow Droids to go into various universes and capture the people living there.
  • It's implied he's used to punching his soldiers, including the General, if they fail at doing something.
  • Reaching his breaking point after Freddy and his friends have escaped their imprisonment, he would order the General to tell the Shadow Droids that now, Freddy and his friends have to be murdered upon sight.
  • After entering the battlefield while wearing the Shadow Mecha, he would murder Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man.
  • He tried to kill Freddy after he entered the Shadow Mecha to try and knock some sense into him.
  • While it was implied that he forgave Freddy and changed his mind while dying, after his resurrection, it would be shown that he's still willing to go with the plan.
  • He tried to kill Springtrap after his resurrection.
  • He killed Ennard and Blank while fighting the Mighty Jimmy.
  • He beheaded a Funtime Freddy from an alternative universe.
  • He resurrected the Shadow Mecha and gave it a mind of its own.
  • After he was resurrected for the second time, he ripped QXR's head in half to gave Glitchtrap a device that he would use to grow into a stronger, monstrous form.
  • He impales Springtrap's leg and tries to kill him one final time.
  • He killed some guy at a talent show after they threw a can of coca cola at him.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • Although he's one of the more serious characters, he still has comedic moments such as being kicked in the balls by Freddy only to question how he was hurt as he doesn’t have balls, or the fact that the Funtime Freddy he beheaded was from Dawko's song "Count the Ways", not to mention he was in the middle of singing it. Although, as mentioned previously, he is taken very seriously besides that, so this is a minor prevention.
  • Even though he went through with his plans after he was revived it's heavily implied that he still genuinely cares for Freddy. This shown by how after his first death he held Freddy's hand and furthermore he offered Freddy to join him and it's likely that The Chief wasn't going to kill Freddy but rather corrupt him so that he could join The Chief.

Trivia[]

  • According to TheHottest Dog, there were plans for a third installment of The Special Strike series, known as The Special Strike: The Final Strike, which would've starred Glitchtrap as the main antagonist, before it was decided to merge its concepts into The Special Strike: Rebellion. In it, the Chief would've been reborn without any memory of his evil actions before regaining those lost memories and, in the end, redeeming himself by sacrificing his life to save Freddy and his friends and defeat Glitchtrap. However, as those plans never came to life, the Chief remains Near Pure Evil.
