“ | You blew the power block for that entire half of the planet, but the testing went on interrupted on the other side. I pleaded with the control brain to let me take the test, but she said I would have to wait another 70 years. I was placed on a janitorial squad, and then sent to planet Dirt. I escaped and began my long search for the mysterious person who caused the blackout, and... RUINED MY LIFE! | „ |

“ | NO! It's not about revenge! It's about taking what is rightfully mine. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN INVADER! I SHOULD HAVE BEEN PART OF THE GREAT ASSIGNING! I DIDN'T HAVE TO BE STEALING THIS PLANET FROM YOU! | „ |
~ Tak revealing her intentions to Zim. |
Tak is the titular main antagonist of the Invader Zim episode "Tak: The Hideous New Girl."
She is an Irken Janitorial Drone who once tried to become an Invader, but failed to do so because of Zim's interference. Because of this, her main goal is to steal Zim's "mission" as an invader, believing it was rightfully hers. Vicious and determined, she is more focused on trying to become Invader than revenge on Zim, or at least that's what she says.
She was portrayed by Olivia D'Abo.
Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- She tried to join the Irken Armada, an evil empire that enslaves planets.
- She imprisoned the Deelishus Weenie owner, only letting him out when she needs to.
- She assaulted Zim with meat.
- When Zim tried to "date" her, she harassed him every time they went out.
- While she was initially affable to Dib, she subverts this quality by trying to destroy the planet he devoted his life to protect.
- She tried to remove the Earth's core and fill it with snacks. This would have killed everyone on the planet, and Tak was almost certainly aware of this but didn't care at all.
- She told Zim that the Tallest lied to him about his mission, likely in an attempt to emotionally break him.
- Unlike Zim, she doesn't seem to care about the Tallest, and only tried to please them to get on good terms with them.
- Her "tragedy" isn't very tragic at all, since she was trying to join the Irken Armada (which as mentioned above, enslaves planets), but failed after a power outage caused by Zim. Also, unlike Zim, she wasn't banished from Irk, and could have easily tried to take the Invader test again after 70 years (which is well within an Irken's lifespan). In fact, it's somewhat comedic, as her tragedy was caused by Zim trying too hard to get a snack from a vending machine.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- While she is taken more seriously than most of the show's other villains, she still has some comedic moments, like her comically high-pitched laugh or Zim interrupting her when she tried to explain her plan.
Trivia[]
- She and Zib are currently the only Invader Zim Near Pure Evils.
- Had the show continued, Tak would have become a reoccurring antagonist. It's possible that this would have affected her status as a NPE.
- She was also confirmed to appear in the film Enter the Florpus, breaking out Moo-Ping 10 with her ship, before the said scene were deleted.
