Ladies and gentlemen! All the way from the Solana Galaxy, the greatest criminal mastermind/vlogger ever to exist! Stuart Zurgo!
~ Zurgo announcing himself in his Lair of Doom.
I was in a different place back then. All I wanted to do was be just like you. Then I watched as you were involved in scandal AFTER scandal! And every time the galaxy just FORGAVE you, you're nothing but ONE BIG EPIC FAIL! And this time, you're going to pay!
~ Zurgo explaining the reason he became a villain
Zurgo: It doesn't make any sense. How can someone so dim-witted keep winning? (to Qwark) What are you?!

Qwark: I'm the guy who doesn't live in his mother's basement

~ Zurgo after his defeat, before being knocked out by Captain Qwark

Stuart Zurgo, formerly known as the Qwark Fan-Boy, is a minor character in Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando and Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal and the main antagonist of Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault.

He was formerly a fanboy of Captain Qwark, until becoming disillusioned with the latter after his scandals. He turned into a supervillain, who now seeks to get revenge on Qwark by plunging multiple planets into chaos and framing him and attempting to get him killed.

In Going Commando, he was voiced by Benjamin Diskin, who also voiced Morley in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Venom in Marvel's Spider-Man (2017). In Full Frontal Assault, he was voiced by Richard Steven Horvitz.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • While he started off as a joke in Going Commando, he ended becoming a big threat during Full Frontal Assault who subverts any of his redeeming qualities.
  • After hearing about Qwark's scandals and still being forgiven, he sought to get revenge by attempting to get the latter killed.
  • He deactivated three Planetary Defense Centers in Ebaro, Markazia and Proteus VII, and demanded that only the Q-Force would defend these worlds, or he would deactivate all the Planetary Defense Centers in the galaxy.
  • Taunted the Q-Force by hacking the Grummelnet Plasma Harvesters on Proteus VII.
  • Disguised as the Plumber and secretly stole Captain Qwark's access key for the Galactic Weather Grid.
  • Endangered several planets with the Galactic Weather Grid whilst disguised as Qwark in order to frame him, and even get him killed.
  • Attempted to kill Ratchet, Clank and Qwark when they encountered him in his Lair of Doom.
  • His disillusionment with Qwark isn't mitigating because it is no excuse to endanger multiple planets, nor is it brought up in a sympathetic way.
  • There is no evidence that he cares for his mother, as he was frustrated at her when she interrupted him during his fight.
  • Despite the high Heinous Standards of Ratchet and Clank, Stuart Zurgo still stands out because he doesn't have as much resources as other villains like Emperor Tachyon, Emperor Nefarious, Dr. Nefarious and the Loki Master, having only the Galactic Weather Grid as his greatest resource.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He has comedic moments that detract him from villainy, such as being a stereotypical nerd who uses internet slangs and his mother interrupting him in the battle to inform him that his macaroni and cheese is getting cold and ended up getting house arrested with his mother instead of going to prison. However, his deeds are taken mostly seriously and is treated as such by the heroes, making this prevention minor.

Trivia[]

  • He and Emperor Tachyon are the only Ratchet and Clank villains to be Near Pure Evil.
