~ Stratos announcing his plans for revenge on Zeus while blowing away farms. |
Stratos, also known as the Wind Titan or the Mystic Voice, is one of the supporting antagonists in Disney's 35th full-length animated feature film Hercules, based on the legendary heroic figure Heracles.
He is one of the Titans who got imprisoned by Zeus shortly after the universe's creation in the distant past. By the time of the film's events, however, Stratos and his brothers are given a chance of vengeance at Zeus and the Olympians by their captor's jealous brother Hades.
He was voiced by Corey Burton, who also voiced Lythos in the same film, Shockwave in Transformers: Animated, Cad Bane in the Star Wars franchise, Malware in Ben 10: Omniverse, Brainiac in LEGO DC Super-Villains and Nitros Oxide in the Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled remake.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He and his brothers wreaked havoc in the past until they were stopped by Zeus.
- After being freed by Hades, they announced their plan of revenge on Zeus while destroying anything in their path, in Stratos' case, destroying a farm by blowing it away, with a goat being claimed by his wind.
- Assisted his brothers in besieging Olympus by using his powers to suck every Olympus Warriors into his body, helping Hades trapping them, possibly planning on keeping them bound for all eternity.
- His relationship with all four of his brothers was too vague and ambiguous to know if he cares for them or not.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He relied a bit on Fridge Horror since there's not much information on how many deaths were caused by him blowing his victims away (we don't know where the goat landed so there's the slight possibility it may have survived), unlike his brothers who have a clear death counts.
- While he's taken more seriously than Hades, he still has some comedic moments like him and his brothers going in the wrong path to Olympus, embarrassing him as he was leading the others in the wrong direction before shaking it off to stay mad at Zeus.
- He only has a few lines in the movie, making him lacks sufficient characterization, but in a minor way since he showed a clear hatred for Zeus for trapping him and his brothers.
