'Spiros "Vondas" Vondopoulos is a supporting antagonist in the HBO series The Wire.
He is the right-hand man of The Greek, the enigmatic leader of the Greek Crime Syndicate, responsible for the smuggling of heroin, prostitutes, and stolen goods. He serves as a supporting antagonist in seasons two, four, and five.
He was portrayed by Paul Ben-Victor.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He is the underboss for The Greek and acts as the face of The Greekās organization.
- He supplies drugs to local kingpins like Proposition Joe, oversees the import and export of stolen goods, forces women into prostitution.
- He shows no concern when Sam Choksey kills thirteen trafficked women by suffocating them in a shipping container.
- He slices Sam Chokseyās throat after having Sergei beat him up. Even though Sam had it coming to him, Vondas doesnāt care as he kills Sam for simply for disrupting his operations.
- He takes advantage of Frank Sobotka's desperation to revitalize the docks, effectively forcing him into an agreement to assist in his smuggling operation.
- When he discovers that Frank Sobotka is working with the police, he kills Frank by stabbing him repeatedly and then slicing his throat.
- While he does show slight disappointment after hearing of Proposition Joe's death, his care for Joe is minimal as he quickly overcomes his grief to continue his business with Marlo
