Sloan Blackburn is the main antagonist of Nickelodeon's 9th feature film The Wild Thornberrys Movie. He is the ruthless leader of the Poachers, the husband of Bree Blackburn, and the archenemy of Eliza Thornberry.
He was voiced by Rupert Everett.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He and his wife had sadistically kidnapped and poached animals to sell them or kill them for their fur.
- He and his wife intended to kill a rhino for his horn.
- While both Bree and himself acted friendly to Eliza, it was ultimately just an act so she didn’t discover their true intentions.
- He and Bree tried to kill roughly one thousand elephants with an electric fence by intimidating them with explosives.
- When Eliza found out the truth about both his wife and himself, he threatened to take Eliza away from her parents, and when Debbie went looking for her, he took it a step further by threatening to kill Eliza’s older sister Debbie by throwing her off the cliff if she did not tell them her source of information (and would most likely continue to torment her if she didn’t tell him), which forced Eliza to give up her ability to speak to animals.
- While he didn’t instruct his men to shoot her, he threw Eliza into a waterfall, endangering her in the process.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- While most of his character when he first appears in the movie turns out to be a facade, his love for his wife is not, as he abducts Tally as a gift for his wife.
