Oh, sir! Thank you for seeing us, sir! How may we serve Your Royal Greatness? Your wish is our command, sir. You have only to ask, Your Amazingness!
~ Sleet's first dialogue in the show where he fakes loyalty before being forced to work for Robotnik.
You should have asked to be paid... before you told me who had the orb. Grab him!
~ Sleet betraying and roboticising Vince.

Sleet is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Dingo) of the French-American animated series Sonic Underground.

He is a bounty hunter who was hired by Dr. Robotnik to assist him on his mission of world domination by kidnapping and roboticising those who opposed him, particularly Sonic the Hedgehog and his siblings Manic and Sonia.

He was voiced by Maurice LaMarche.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • Although Robotnik forced him into working for him, this does not make Sleet a Villain by Proxy, as he was already a villain beforehand, and he still enjoys in doing villainy.
  • He is frequently trying to kidnap and roboticise anyone who opposes him or who he thinks will possibly mess with his goals, including the Sonic Underground.
    • What's worse is that roboticization is shown to be incurable and people's wills can only be temporarily restored. And even if it isn't confirmed people are still aware of their situation like in SatAM, it still leaves them in a borderline-dead state as emotionless cyborgs/robots.
  • In "Three Hedgehogs and a Baby", he builds a robotic baby to trick the Sonic Underground into delivering it to Sanctuary, where child freedom fighters are brought up. He intends on kidnapping and enslaving all of the children there.
  • In "Artifact", he betrays Vince, who was genuinely loyal to him, by promising him money for information on a missing artifact that Bartleby has. Although Vince keeps his part of the deal, Sleet double crosses and has him roboticised despite him screaming and begging for him not to.
  • In "Head Games", he plans on roboticizing everybody in Speed Island after claiming that giving up their land will benefit them.
  • He is the only character on the show who has a confirmed murder count, as in "The ART of Destruction", he tricks the Sonic Underground into walking into a room with walls that closed in. The moment ultimately caused the death of ART when he helped them escape at the cost of his life.
  • Although he works for Robotnik, about half of his crimes are done under his own accord.
  • Although he works with Robotnik, Dingo and Bartleby, he shows no concern for any of them, as he frequently abuses Dingo and Bartleby, and he plans on overthrowing Robotnik, even trying to double cross him again when Robotnik showed him mercy.
  • He is arguably Manic's most personal enemy, as he is usually responsible for the worst actions in episodes that focus on him.
  • Although he has several comical moments, only some of them detract from his heinousness.
  • Despite working with Sonic temporarily in "New Echidna in Town", this was only for self-serving reasons, because the powered-up Dingo was a threat to both sides of the conflict.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • Although most of his comical moments do not detract from his heinous, a few of them do. A good example of this is in the episode "The Last Resort", where he loses his conscious after Dingo slams into him and asks his mother for more sleep, and in "Haircraft in Space", where he, Dingo and Robotnik are hypnotized by the Doo-Bot and Sonic considers the situation amusing.
  • His crimes somewhat rely on Fridge Horror, as although he intended to use the Chaos Emerald to overthrow Robotnik and take Mobius for himself, it is not made clear exactly how he intended to rule Mobius.

Trivia[]

  • Sleet is the only Sonic Underground villain who is considered Near Pure Evil, and the second TV Near Pure Evil from the franchise.
