Sir Worton is the main antagonists of Heroes of Might and Magic IV: The True Blade campaign. He was a usurper to the kingdom of Palaedra, the younger son of King Nicolas Gryphonheart's legendary swordbearer, Sir Kentaine and the priestess Desette, who later became a knight and a wanted criminal.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • At a young age, he begins to steal and befriend criminals, beats drunks and abuses his father's fame and power.
  • He obtains his knighthood by blackmail and starts gambling, which accumulates debt for his family.
  • He built a garrison in front of his mother's house and ordered the commander to kill the woman if anyone approached it.
  • He makes a fake of the legendary Gryphonheart blade and lies that he is the rightful heir and king of Palaedra.
  • He persuade the corrupt nobles to side with him, start recruiting armies and occupy the mines and castles of Palaedra.
  • He sends an entire army against his almost dead father to kill him.
  • He almost completely destroys the kingdom of Palaedra.
    • He takes the capital, Paledon by force and takes over the kingdom.
    • He gives power and influence to his criminal associates and corrupt nobles, who rob innocent people, take most of their possessions, and abuse or kill those who resist.
    • He confiscates the wealth of the people, which was not stolen by his fellow criminals, for the war against Lysander.
    • He captures four more castles besides Paledon and threatens his neutral neighbors to side with him or face the consequences.
  • Instead of reading the letter written by his parents, he tear it apart and kicks Milton until he fainted and locks him in the dungeon with Sir Daymarc.
  • Normic and Caileen were imprisoned by Lysander for remaining loyal to Worton and guarding the gold mines. After Worton captures Paledon and parts of the territories of the kingdom of Palaedra, he has absolutely no interest in the fate of Normic and Caileen and does not release them from prison, meaning that his followers are just tools for him.
  • When Lysander approaches Paledon, he flees with other criminals and abandons his nobles and soldiers who are fighting for him.
  • Lysander offers him a fair duel, but he instigates his dozens of bandits and only then wants to kill him.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He fails the Heinous Standards to other villians, e.g Lord Harke, Kalibarr or Hexis.
