Sgt. Hilde Schmittendorf is a major antagonist in the 2013 video game Dead Rising 3. She is a sadistic high-ranking member of Hemlock's Special Ops unit who aids him with his goals to become a ruthless dictator but is mostly just in it for the opportunity to murder people at Hemlock's requests. She would later be killed by Nick after he tackled her out of a window and after her death, Nick would take the USB stick she hid inside her breasts and give it to Red and Annie as proof of the Special Ops criminal activity.
She was voiced by Diane Delano.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Went along with Hemlock in his goals to rule the world via threat of zombie outbreaks.
- Had soldiers steal flash drive and attempted to create false evidence of rescue.
- After a man came up to her and screamed for help, she ordered her soldier to kill the woman and laughed about it as the man cries, she then taunts him before snapping his neck.
- Even when Nick tries to tells her what she did, she only mocked him to how she's attracted to "Hero Wannabe" and made him touch her breasts before he stopped in brief disgust due to obvious age gap and her crimes. She later orders her men to "test Nick if he can pass" as a hero and laughs shall he fail.
- After enduring great fall due to own reckless actions, she felt no remorse for any of them simply told Nick it isn't fair for anyone else to have him as "she finished first" before finally dying due to her spine breaking.
- While she works under the command of General Hemlock and goes as far as to show up on TV standing next to him, she's known to have zero positive or redeeming qualities as she's purely out for sadism and thrill over her actions without suffering any law consequences.
- To show how heartless she is, she can also call her soldiers during battle and without any concern shoot them if they were close enough to Nick.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Most of her worst acts were done under the orders of Hemlock, so she doesn't stand out enough from him to be Pure Evil. Even her exact kill count under Hemlock's orders is also not made clear, making her rely on Fridge Horror.
- As someone who harms people sexually, she would also fail to Jo Slade and Dylan Fuentes, who both with smaller resources did unique crimes of torture and rape on their victims whilst Hilde avoided that despite having a great opportunity in doing so.
