“ | Mercer this is way to close to where the nasties are working the smell is, revolting. | „ |
~ Sebastian's first words and insulting Eugene. |
“ | People don't want honesty. They wanna be told that everything's gonna be A-Okay so they can go about ignoring the goddamn mess this world really is. (...) Please. The Commonwealth is built on buying into bullshit. The desperate need to believe that the All-American dream is still real. Ya know, anything -- anything is possible, we can rise above our stations. It's a fricking joke. The reality is that the poor stay poor so that the rich can do whatever the hell we want. The game is rigged. There are no bootstraps to pull up. Christ, my mom handpicks the lottery winners! And none of it matters. And nothing will ever change, but those people that you think want honesty? Yeah, they're just too stupid to see it. It's pathetic. | „ |
~ Sebastian's cynical view on the commonwealth and his most famous quote. |
Sebastian Milton is a major antagonist of AMC's The Walking Dead season 11. He is the son of Pamela Milton, the governor of the Commonwealth and due to his status, is very cruel, self-centered, and entitled.
He was portrayed by Teo Rapp-Olsson.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He is an elitist, cruel, and self-centered brat who constantly bullies and demeans everyone around him.
- He insults Eugene and Shira and frames Eugene for attacking him when he provoked them.
- Is ungrateful when Daryl saves him from getting eaten by walkers.
- He sends Daryl and Rosita to get his money that he lost and when they refuse, threatens their kids.
- It is later revealed that he previously sent 30 to 40 people to get the money in which they died in and shows zero remorse or care for this action.
- He gets 3 more people killed on the mission when they go get the money and while it is shown that Mercer actually killed the other 2 (who was Sebastian's personal troops), Sebastian didn't know that and just assumed they died on the mission and also showed no care for their deaths.
- When his recorded speech is revealed and everyone turns against him, he attempts to kill Maxxine by throwing a walker at her and then giddily watches as she tries to fight it. When Eugene later throws that walker on him, he cowardly tries to beg for help.
- While Judith Grimes is sad that she must shoot him to end the pain faster, his death is not played for sympathy because he tried doing the same thing to Max and his fellow commonwealth soldiers.
- He's such a despicable human that even Lance, a fellow monster of a person also hates his guts and shows standards against him, calling him "Pamela's sadistic shit of a son".
- His actions have a posthumous effect as it caused Eugene and the others to be on the run and started Pamela's hunt for them.
- While not as bad as Lance Hornsby or his mother, all things considered, he isn't able to order hundreds of commonwealth solders to attack people and is neglected by his mother, which stops him from having too many resources. Plus his actions do have a large impact as him sending people to their deaths completely sends the Commonwealth into disarray.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Despite his behavior towards her, he does genuinely love his mother as he fully embraced her in arms when he was returned to her and tries desperately to appease and make her happy.
Trivia[]
- While he is NPE in the show, his comic book counterpart doesn't qualify due to his worst act being 1 murder and showing some remorse for it. (Although Carl argues that he was only sad that he got caught)
- He is currently the youngest NPE encountered in The Walking Dead franchise.
