His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- For many years, Sean’s shady dealings and corruption has caused Arcadia Bay to become invested with crime and had led to many people in Arcadia to lose their jobs and homes and caused many ecological disasters.
- He is extremely psychologically abusive towards his son Nathan, making him miserable for years while ignoring his rapidly decreasing mental health issues, while also enabling him to cause trouble to Arcadia Bay and forced Blackwell Academy to not go after Nathan. This leads to Nathan growing more ill and to later be manipulated by Mr. Jefferson.
- If Nathan ends up hurting Samantha, Sean will throw it under the rug and try to silence Samantha’s mother and threaten her to not press charges.
- If Max reported Nathan about trying to kill Chloe, he will personally message max and threaten her not to do anything.
- He personally financed and gave money to Jefferson, and gave him access to his underground bunker, which lead to Jefferson serial kidnapping, drugging and possibly raping many young girls and killing them, including Kate Marsh and Rachel Amber. While it is left unconfirmed, it is highly likely he at least knew of what Jefferson did in the Dark Room and allowed it to happen.
- Overall, he caused most of the series to happen, being the reason Arcadia Bay is a less than nice place and is indirectly the cause of Rachel Amber’s death and Chloe’s rapidly deflating mental health, along with being the reason his son is the way he is.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- While it was highly likely, it is left unconfirmed if Sean truly knew about Mark Jefferson’s true crimes in the Dark Room, leaving some fridge horror.
Trivia[]
- He is one of the two characters to be Near Pure Evil from the Life is Strange franchise, the other being Lisbeth Fischer.
