~ Seamstress after having her disguise torn apart |
The Seamstress is a minor antagonist in the Disney Channel animated series Amphibia. She is a glass frog who steals the skins of other frogs in order to hide her appearance.
She was voiced by series creator Matt Braly.
Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- In order to hide her appearance, she began killing many innocent frogs who entered her house and skinning them in order to create a disguise. She was shown wearing the skins of around 6-7 frogs, and the remains of 10 others were kept inside of her cabin.
- When Sprig and Ivy entered her cabin, she immediately tried to kill them and take their skins.
- As she was being defeated, she tried to drag Ivy into her burning cabin so she could die with her.
- She easily passes the heinous standard of the series, since she has low resources compared to King Andrias, the Core, and King Aldrich, she has a unique method of killing people and her high number of victims which helps her stand out compared to other villains with low resources, and she appears in a non-canon episode.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- The reason why she's been killing frogs for their skins is because she was insecure about her own appearance, which is briefly played for sympathy, with her seeming genuinely grateful when it seemed like Ivy was empathizing with her. However, it's somewhat minor, since it doesn't justify her actions.
