Robert Greenwood is a minor antagonist of the Season 2 of Gotham, serving as a cameo character in "Damned If You Do..." and the secondary antagonist of "Knock, Knock".

He is a serial killer who was behind murdering and cannibalising many women. He was sent to Arkham Asylum for his crimes but was busted out of prison by Theo Galavan and joined a terrorist group called The Maniax.

He was portrayed by Dustin Ybarra.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?

• He raped, murdered and ate about one dozen women before being caught by the police.
• When playing the game of Russian Roulette with Jerome, he bragged about the crimes he committed, even heavily implying a specific threat to cut up and eat him.
• Robert helped the Maniax throw their captives off the top of a building to send their message to the city.
• Robert assisted the Maniax in nearly killing a bus filled with cheerleaders by almost setting it on fire.
• Robert participated in the GCPD massacre where he murdered multiple police officers.
• Although the heinous standards of Gotham are incredibly high, Robert stands out for being a brutal rapist, with rape being quite a unique crime in the series.
• He has no redeeming qualities.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?

• His serial rape and cannibalisation of women take place offscreen and have little importance to the plot, meaning he relies too much on offscreen villainy to stand out as his onscreen crimes aren’t heinous enough on their own.
