Rarity is the titular main antagonist of a My Little Pony GrimDark Creepypasta FanFic originally created by Arkantos4Dead, Rarity's New Patterns, and its SFM adaptation created by EdPlus777 with the same name.
She is a white unicorn from Ponyville who works as a clothes designer and shopkeeper of the Carousel Boutique who has to that has to finish all six dresses dresses for Fancy Pants within three days. However, aftet realizing she doesn't enough materials she would descend into insanity and then goes to kills all of her friends for their skin after seeing pony fur as "high-quality material", and would later even attempt to do the the same towards her own sister before then killing herself after thinking she could use hrr own fur as "high-quality material".
In the SFM animated film, she was voiced by LoveKiku.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- While she does show to be willing to just want to finish the order of six designs for Crystal Lenora due to being a fan of her, this is more out of obsessive fanaticism and not in a heathy manner.
- She kills Rainbow Dash by making her unconscious after stabbing her in the neck and cuffing her up in chains before stabbing and torturing her while she cries and is then decapitated by her, which eventually has her skin taken off by Rarity.
- When Twilight Sparkle asks Rarity where she is and refuses to help her, she then traps and is immediately stabbed in the chest by her and cutting her open while Rarity is giving a sadistic smile to then stabbing her in the neck, afterwards her skin is also taken off.
- Traps both Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy, while cuffing up Pinkies Pie who is unaware of what's happening before being stabbed in the chest by her axe multiple times while Fluttershy is watching it before trying to run away but trips and getting axed by Rarity in the same way but on her back but then her neck gets snapped by her when she couldn't stay still, killing her in an instant.
- Forces Sweetie Belle into bringing Applejack to her, so she can kill her too, while throwing her sister out immediately.
- She kills Applejack after she stabs her in the jaw by her. While bleeding, Applejack calls out Rarity for her actions of killing her own friends for the pettiest obsession of killing her friends for their skin, only gor Rarity to decapitated by her after Applejack warns a returning Sweetie Belle to save herself.
- After Sweetie Belle realized her Sister's actions and tries to call the guards, she is then trapped by Rarity, when she noticed that she has only five "materials", going more insane and tries to kill her own sister.
- When Sweetie Belle tries to snap her back by telling her she loves her, to which it seems she finally noticed her actions and is blind-sided, in which Rarity woild think that she herself is the final material for her dresses, while sadistically cutting herself to "prepare her one and possibly only chance to shine as bright as Una's moon rise" before laughing madly about it before proceeding to swinging an axe at her back before saying "Madness? THIS IS MAGIC!!!" and stabbing herself at the neck with the axe while laughing insanely before falling to the ground and eventually dying crom blood loss and her self-inflicted injuries, thus ending Rarity's killing spree.
- While it may seem she just wanted to shine, there's no indication that she felt remorse for her actions.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Her death is played for sympathy as she tells her younger sister that she just wanted to shine before dying in her younger sister Sweetie Belle's arms as the latter starts mourning for her death.
- She seems to suffer from Moral Agency issues due to her going insane due to lack of sleep mixed with her stress of getting all the dresses done in three days for Fancy Pants, as well as having an obsession with "perfection" to the point of killing her own friends and stealing their skin (specifically their fur) for her dresses. However, this is only a minor prevention as she seems to be aware snd shows glee about her actions.
Trivia[]
- This is the first Rarity to be Near Pure Evil.
- This also is the second time any of the Main Six are Near Pure Evil, with the first one being Rainbow Dash from "Rainbow Factory".
- There was supposed to be a sequel planned, however it was either canceled or never made, it's unlikely if it would affect Rarity's status.
- However, it followed the events afterwards with Sweetie Belle being the protagonist, it's unknown what would've happened if the sequel was planned though theories say she became traumatized or became a killer like her sister, if confirmed, then it would've made Rarity worse.
