The Quintesson High Commander is the overarching antagonist of the 2024 animated sci-fi film, Transformers One. The highest ranking member of the Quintesson Army, he was the one who instilled Sentinel Prime as the Quintessons' puppet ruler of Cybertron and carrying the energon harvested by his troops to the planet's homeworld of Quintessa.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Pure Evil?[]

  • Was leading the charge of a brutal war against Cybertron and its leaders, the Primes, to conquer it and harvest it of its Energon.
  • Upon making a deal with Sentinel Prime, he laid an ambush for the Primes as a distraction for the latter to butcher them.
  • Appoints Sentinel as Cybertron's puppet ruler to mine Energon to be given to the Quintessons, who would achieve it through means of slavery in which he forces them to work in deadly mines capable of crushing them to death. Since Energon has no longer become a renewable resource thanks to the loss of the Matrix, the Quintesson High Commander was stripping Cybertron of the very substance it needs to live.
  • When Sentinel offers less Energon than promised because as he himself tells, the Energon mines are running out and Cybertorn's population needs some Energon to survive, the Quintesson High Commander threatens his life to strip Cybertron of every bit of Energon it has, condemning the Transformer race to a slow death, although Sentinel truly deserved it for the greedy monster he really is.
  • At the end of the day, he is the main catalyst for the events of the entire film, due to killing most of the Primes that Sentinel betrayed and being the benefactor of Sentinel as he digs up more Energon for it. This makes him reponsible for Sentinel's and Airachid's villainous actions and as well as causing D-16 and Orion Pax to become the people they are now.

What Prevents Him from Pure Evil?[]

  • Ultimately, he lacks sufficient characterization as his personality is far too undefined to be Pure Evil as he's mostly a screeching beast. While Sentinel can converse and make deals with him, and he is implied to have no tolerance for failure and is greedy for energon, what personality that could even be derived is far too minimal to offset how he is primarily beast-like in portrayal.
