Queen Necrafa is the main antagonist of Nickelodeon TV series Mysticons, serving as the overarching antagonist of the first arc, the main antagonist of the second arc and the posthumous antagonist of the third arc.
She was a elven sorceress, that found Spectral Hand's mask and wore it, becoming a powerful lich queen in the process. Necrafa later decided to destroy Realm of Gemina.
She was voiced by Valerie Buhagiar.
Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Some time after she was corrupted by the mask, she presumably took over the Realm of Gemina (or at least attempted to), and was implied to have killed the original Mysticons during their final battle with her.
- Was responsible for corrupting General Bane into becoming her loyal minion which makes her indirectly responsible for the many heinous acts he did in an attempt to resurrect her.
- Was also implied to have done the same thing to Tazma in “Through My Enemy’s Eyes”.
- Had Adakite Flowstone betray the original Mysticons (despite her being their friends) by having her give information about them in return for more power.
- Doesn’t care about her minions and only uses them as a pawn to her plans. This is ultimately made clear when she betrays Dreadbane for taking too long to revive her by throwing him inside the portal of where she was imprisoned in (an act that nearly killed him and caused him to lose his memory for several episodes), killed one of her minions during her first encounter with the second generation Mysticons, and occasionally threatens Tazma in some episodes.
- Upon being freed, she attempted to destroy Gemina again, by trying to turn Drake City’s citizens into her Phantom.
- She attempted to obtain the four magical gems that made her immune to the Mysticons powers. It reached the point where she was willing to kill everyone inside Sky Pies just to obtain them.
- Planned on using the Prophecy to resurrect the Spectral Dragon so she could destroy the entire world, an act which she was nearly successful in.
- When Dreadbane tried impressing her for the final time (by stealing the magical rings which the Mysticons planned on using to defeat her), she pretends to be pleased by this so he could give her the rings. However, after Arkayna tries convincing him that she never cared for him, she grows impatient and attacks him, openly stating that she hates him and views him as worthless. This was ultimately the cuase of her death as Dreadbane wouldn't have surrendered the rings to the Mysticons if she tried convincing him that she cared for him.
- This makes her indirectly responsible for the mask corrupting Proxima as the mask's remains where left behind shortly after her death.
- Although she was influenced by the mask into becoming evil, she still has clear moral agency as she does have a clear personality, and it was shown that people who are influenced by the mask can go against it, like the witch who created the mask did when she refused to free the spectral hand, as well as Proxima when she was against destroying the realm, showing that people who wear the mask still have some moral agency, and Necrafa was never shown to go against the mask, unlike Proxima. Necrafa was perfectly fine with destroying the entire realm and even gloated about doing so.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- She seems to have some fondness for the Spectral Dragon, as she referred to him as "her pet" and "her child".
