Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Even before targeting Elora Danan, she was a tyrannical and cruel queen who oppressed her subjects.
- Upon receiving the prophesy that a child would cause her fall, she ordered the arrest of all pregnant women and demands the death of the child that is born with the mark.
- She orders the death of the mother of Elora Danan, the child who was born with the mark, and has the midwife that escaped with the child, hunted down and killed by her dogs.
- She turned the inhabitants of an entire realm that were led by a good king and queen, to stone and filled it with trolls.
- She sends her troops led by her daughter Sorsha to find the baby and capture her.
- Her soldiers capture Elora and bring them to her, so that she can kill her.
- When a group of soldiers storm the palace to free the baby, Bavmorda painfully transforms them into pigs.
- She prepares and attempts to conduct the ritual that will kill Elora Danan by causing lightning to strike her, and banish her soul into the Netherworld for all eternity.
- When Sorsha, Bavmorda's daughter confronts her in an attempt to stop her from hurting the child, Bavmorda attempts to murder her, showing no care for her own daughter.
- She fights and defeats the good witch, Fin Raziel.
- She attempts to kill Willow when he tries to rescue Elora.
- Even years after her death, Bavmorda has left behind a dark and evil energy in her palace, which psychologically messes with her granddaughter Kit Tantalos and her friends when they try to save her grandson Airk from the Order of the Wyrm.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- She is slightly tragic, as while she always had an inclination to dark magic, she was originally a promising young sorceress before she was abducted by The Crone and the Order of the Wyrm, who corrupted her and taught her forbidden magic, turning her into the monster she became. However, Queen Bavmorda became evil of her own free will due to there being no indications she ever drank the Wyrm's milk, making this a minor prevention.
- She ultimately fails the Heinous Standards to The Crone, who did worse with fewer resources is and is responsible for Bavmorda's actions in addition to her own crimes.
