He was voiced by NƩstor Carbonell.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- After he learned that the Fountain of the Foreverglades transferred youth from one person to another, he tossed one of his own crew members into the fountain and stole their youth for himself. It's strongly implied that the crew member was killed, due to them turning gray and disappearing.
- After stealing the youth of the first crew member, the same to the others before moving on to other people. He spent centuries turning people older just so that he could prolong his old life.
- It's also shown that the youth-transferring waters work on plants, which means that Ponce chose to drain people, even though he didn't have to.
- When it became difficult to lure people to the fountain directly, he built a resort and drained the fountain's waters into the pool. He then advertised the hotel as an enjoyable vacation spot, intending to lure people, primarily teenagers, to the location.
- Dozens of teenagers were shown entering the hotel, and when they entered the pool, they rapidly aged and became much more frail. While Ponce wasn't killing them directly, he was still taking decades off of their natural lifespans.
- Although he seemed friendly and accommodating as a hotel manager, that was only so he could maintain his faƧade, not because he cared about anyone at the resort.
- When Louie figured out what was happening and informed his brothers that Ponce was stealing the youth of many innocent people, Ponce kidnapped the three of them. He intended to rapidly age them until their cognitive abilities declined and they were unable to remember anything about his crimes.
- When Scrooge and Goldie confronted him about stealing the fountain's water, he immediately tried to kill them with his sword.
- While he later offered to share the water with them, this was only because they had overpowered him and he was trying to convince them to let him go.
- When both he and Scrooge fell into the pool, he grabbed him and tried to prevent him from reaching the surface, almost killing the latter if it wasn't for Goldie saving him in time.
- While his death may be seen as horrific due to rapifly aging into nothing but dust, it was well-deserved and played for satisfaction.
- Although he has a few comedic moments, he's still taken seriously as a threat.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Evil?[]
- He relies too much on fridge horror to pass the heinous standard. It's not explicitly stated that he killed dozens of people, and while he was shown turning them much older, this wasn't treated as a horrible enough fate to make him stand out enough. It was also relatively easy to restore the youth of everyone at the hotel. However, it's still implied that he's killed people by draining their youth. Additionally, he was reducing the lifespans of many innocent people, and it was shown that being rapidly aged can affect the victim's cognition, make this a minor prevention.
Trivia[]
- He was once considered Pure Evil until it was found out that he relies on possible Fridge Horror.
