Paxton Fettel is the secondary antagonist of the video game survival horror franchise, F.E.A.R. He was the secondary antagonist of the first F.E.A.R, a minor character of F.E.A.R 2: Reborn and one of two playable protagonists in F.E.A.R 3. Fettel is one of the three children of the gifted psychic prodigy Alma Wade, who was placed under abuse throughout his life alongside his brother Point Man which shaped the two on who they become with Fettel being much more violently brutal and power hungry.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He kills his enemies in violently brutal ways by slicing their throats and exploding their body parts.
- When he escaped he used the replica soldiers to help him try to free Alma who is considered to be the mother of the apocalypse.
- Killed his aunt by likely chewing on her throat.
- Manipulated and possessed a replica soldier for his own gain.
- Violently killed Becket the protagonist of F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin by painfully exploding his entire body as a way to get more information on Almas whereabouts in pursuing more power and laughed about how he killed him. This also in return got rid of the investment value of Becket entirely as he was the most important and essential hero in the second installment of the trilogy.
- In his own ending he killed his brother by possessing him, took the newborn baby as a means to serve him and devoured his mother so that he can obtain her powers.
- His endgame was for power hungry motives to rule as a god.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He's sympathetic due to the results of a lifetime of controlling abuse from Armacham, and while his brother went through the same level of such and he wasn't nearly as bad as him, Point Man wasn't considered to be the average enduring individual and was weaponized to be that way while Fettel wasn't.

- Fettel is the only villain in F.E.A.R to be Near Pure Evil and is the closest one to being Pure Evil.
