Kara Zor-El, also known as Overgirl, is the secondary antagonist of the 2017 Arrowverse crossover "Crisis on Earth-X", the main antagonist of the animated web series Freedom Fighters: The Ray, and a minor antagonist in 2015-2021 TV Series, Supergirl.
She is a general from the Nazi-conquered alternate version of the Arrowverse's Earth-1 known as Earth-X. The Overgirl is the wife of the Dark Arrow, the Earth-X version of the Green Arrow.
She was portrayed by Melissa Benoist.
Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- She is already a Nazi, so that automatically gives her a level of heinousness.
- She is the co-dictator of Earth-X following Nazi idealism, placing several Jews, gays and rebels into concentration camps and/or just kills them.
- It is heavily implied that she killed her adoptive sister, who attempted to kill her.
- After meeting Eobard Thawne, she and Dark Arrow team up with him to conquer Earth-1 under the New Reich and use Supergirl's heart to save her life, since she is dying due to being exposed to solar radiation.
- After getting the transporter to work, Dark Arrow, Overgirl, Earth-X's Prometheus and their army of Nazis soldiers attacked Barry Allen and Iris West's wedding in an attempt to capture Supergirl.
- During the attack on the wedding, Overgirl kills the minister with her heat vision for seemingly no reason and simply states, "Peace is overrated".
- With help from Thawne, she and Dark Arrow break into Dayton Optical Systems and steal a device called the Prism.
- Upon revealing their identities to the main trio, Overgirl is openly disgusted by her counterpart's heroism, calling it "weakness".
- While fighting with the trio, Overgirl use her heat vision on a building just so they can escape, nearly killing several people.
- Upon Reverse-Flash convincing her that Dark Arrow may care more about her than the New Reich, Overgirl states that she'll make him choose the Reich if she has to, implying that although she does care about Dark Arrow, she cares about the goals of the New Reich more.
- Overgirl has Reverse-Flash and the New Reich soldiers to keep the heroes occupied while Dark Arrow was taking over S.T.A.R. Labs.
- Overgirl mocks Supergirl about not having "someone special in her life".
- When Green Arrow tries to reason with Dark Arrow, stating that they could find a way to save Overgirl's life without harming Supergirl, Overgirl yelled that he was lying and tried to get Dark Arrow to kill Felicity Smoak.
- She, along with Dark Arrow, is indirectly responsible for the death of main character Martin Stein, something which deeply affected the heroes and got them enraged at the New Reich's horrible actions.
- After war is declared, Dark Arrow and Overgirl have their forces attack Central City and kill whoever is in their way. Afterwards, they would conquer the entire Earth-1.
- Even though the New Reich fell after Dark Arrow and Overgirl's deaths, Earth-X's Black Siren vowed to kill all who were responsible for her allies' deaths and attempted to destroy the Central City Police Department as retribution.
- Although the Arrowverse has particularly high Heinous Standards, Overgirl stands out due to her horrendous totalitarian regime of Earth-X (that resembles the Holocaust) and attempting to conquer Earth-1 in which countless people would have died.
- Years Later, after being briefly resurrected by Lex Luthor on Earth-Prime, she joins the fight against Supergirl and her team for the last time.
- She targets and battles Supergirl once more before getting thrown into a building, exploding and killed for the final time.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- She genuinely loved and cared for her husband Dark Arrow. She supported her husband when he felt down and listened to any plan he conjured up. Even though their main goal was to conquer Earth-1, she seemed genuinely touched when Dark Arrow vowed to save her life no matter the cost. After hearing that Promtheus was dead, she showed concern for him since she knew the two of them were close.
