His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He targeted at least a dozen women to abduct them and torture them to death for his own pleasure. He would keep a gallery of his victims as a reminder of what he did.
- He would kill people connected to the GCPD investigators. The killings were bad enough that the GCPD did not want to pursue him as other people's lives would be in danger.
- He captured Barbara Kean and tortured her in the same manner as his other victims. He physically abused her and threatened her if she tells him what he has done.
- He was interested in finding women so that he would have power over them.
- He went to Barbara Kean's house and helped her murder her parents.
- He took Barbara as hostage during the gun fight against Jim Gordon and intended to use her as a shield to protect himself.
- He had no remorse for torturing and murdering many people.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He has a sympathetic backstory. He was born with a condition on his face and as a result, he was mocked and bullied a lot as a kid. A wanted love and appreciation from a mother figure but she ridiculed him.
- The Heinous Standards are too high for him to stand out, with many villains like the Penguin and Jerome Valeska killing more people (even his own mother in Jerome's case).
