Nurse Mildred Ratched is the villain protagonist of the 2020 Netflix series Ratched.
She serves as the Head Nurse at Lucia State Hospital and she abuses her patients regularly.
She is protrayed by Sarah Paulson, who also played Mary Epps in 12 Years a Slave.

- She forced a helpless man (on screen) and 3 others (mentioned) to commit suicide.
- Reading in the newspaper, Ratched has killed 7 nurses because they knew too much.
- She tortured Charles and a lesbian patient by boiling them in steaming hot water.
- She stabbed a man threw the eye with a hammer and an icepick.
- She poisoned a man's medication.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- She is tragic since her mother and father abandoned her and said that they'll come back but they never, ever showed up for her. She was then sent to an orphanage and was adopted where she was abused repeatedly. Ever since adoption her new parents would abuse her.
- She deeply loves her adoptive brother, Edmund, and grew to fall in love with Gwendolyn as well.
- She was affable and kind towards Dolly in the end.
