~ Nightmare Medic devouring his victims' soul |
Nightmare Medic, also known as Archdemon, is one of the overarching antagonists of the FreakShow franchise.
He appears as one of the two unseen overarching antagonists (alongside with The Original Vagineer) of The Vagi Series, the unseen overarching antagonist of both The Pyre Series and The Lost Ones, the overarching antagonist of the Kugawattan's 2015 Gmod YouTube video, The Three Shmuckfreaks: Grave Problems, and the main antagonist of the YouTube user Xho and The Demon Slayers series.
He is a demonic warlord, as well as the ruler of Hell and the creator of several demons, being the responsible for the destruction that corrupt the inhabitants, devouring their souls in order to ascend through the gate between The Hell and the mortal world, becoming more powerful, and achieve godhood before destroying the Freak World, and recreating the world in his own image to have completely rule over itself. He is the archenemy of his angelic counterpart, Erzengel.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
In General[]
- When Nightmare Medic emerged from Hell and possessed a body, he entered the warpath, brutally and sadistically slaughtering countless innocent lives and stealing their souls. What's more; He hunted even more souls to gather enough so he could look like a divine being.
- While he doesn't show mistreating to his subordinates, he doesn't care about them, as evidenced by his apparent ignorance of the deaths of some of his minions, seeing them as nothing more than useful slaves to help him execute the destruction of the world. This is shown by how other demons once they had proclaimed their loyalty to him. The other demons can attest to this by declaring their trust in him. He also offers no help to Behemoth and Men of Mystery after the Demon Slayer defeats them in the battle of Harvest, although Nightmare Medic may not be aware of their defeat due to being distracted fighting Reaper when it happened.
- It is heavily implied, although unconfirmed, that he attempted to destroy Freak World so he could recreate the world into a new one in order to rule it with godlike power.
- It is implied that he will be perfectly content to let his servants die, even taking pleasure in slaughtering and punishing them whenever he feels like it. After using Infierno, Sentinel and Behemoth, it is believed that the Nightmare Medic will eventually dispose of them.
- He is indirectly responsible for every tragedy committed by certain demons in certain sagas:
- In The Vagi Series: While would assume Vagipyro is simply a Pyro infected with the Vagineer virus, it's clearly supernatural and demonic nature implies there is more to it than it seems. He is indirectly responsible for the serial killing that commit Vagipyro, starting by murdering Gunslinger Vagineer's lover, a BLU Vagispy, possessing the likes of a Painis Cupcake, Weaselcake, RED and BLU Team. Which also caused the Gunslinger Vagineer's death alongside with Vagipyro by using his ultimate attack to turn into a nuke and destroy him (alongside the rest of 2Fort) once and for all.
- In The Pyre Series: After Vagipyro is dead, it remains gave birth to an "offspring", the demonic Pyre. As a result, he killed several mercenaries, including HECU, who trespass on his territory, where the homicidal demon deftly avoids attention and sneaks up behind his would-be victims to commit a brutal but silent death to his victims.
- As a result of his actions, he thus served as a catalyst for various demons, who had wanted to exploit the souls for their own benefits. These included, but are not limited to, BLU Nnnngh Sniper, Lord DeGroot, and Twitch.
- Although he is no coward and has boldly scaled down an entire army with his cataclysmic schemes, that does not make him honorable, for his vile methods and bloodlust show him far more than even the slightest honor could ever hold.
- In the past, it is conceivably known that he ruled Hell from another world or dimension, seeking to destroy and recreate Freak World into a more hellish habitat for himself. However, his goals would then bring him into conflict with Erzengel a number of times, who would continually thwart his attempts to destroy Freak World, turning the two into bitter enemies.
- When he possessed a RED Medic and turned him into a malevolent entity he rightly knows, he immediately devoured the souls of the Disciples in his vicinity, yet not hindering their commitment to their master.
- During his evil reign, he created reality distortions and spread them around the world to aid in his extinction event while personally taking refuge in Freak World.
- He has no comedic moments and is generally taken completely seriously throughout the series.
- Despite being a demon, he has clearly moral agency and a sadistic personality as he got away with all of his heinous deeds, making it clear that as long as his power was unlimited, it would continue to feed on the souls of others. Not only that, but the souls of the victims will likely be trapped to suffer forever for the demon lord's own twisted pleasures.
- In general, he is considered to be one of the most heinous and dangerous villains in the FreakShow franchise as he one of the few to have a higher kill count while showing that he is more malevolent, sadistic, ruthless and even a much bigger threat than other villains since he only cared about death and destruction as his plan would destroy the entire Freak World rather than just a specific, localized place.
In Other Videos[]
- While he didn't kill Demopan, when the latter offer him to trade some Stout Shako, where he agreed to, it is quite clear that he did that for pragmatic reasons and not out of care.
- He uses his telekinesis to make fly Bob Brothers, Interesting Spy, and King Caberface when they couldn't escape due to Nightmare Medic's power, which would have made him kill them if Erzengel hadn't intervened.
- During a fight against Painis Cupcake, where he badly injured a cannibal where he unleashed his powers on him and knocked him unconscious, this backfired as Painis quickly regained consciousness and punched him in the chest, forcing him to retreat.
- Although his initial death was horrific as he was killed by Bugler Vagineer, it wasn’t played for sympathy, and he indeed deserved it for his heinous actions.
- When he used Infierno to trick Bugler Vagineer into a trap and sent him to Hell, where he psychologically tormented the blue Vagineer by burning him in the hell (although it is reasonable since Bugler Vagineer killed him and left him a strong resentment of his death in the first place).
The Demon Slayers[]
- In the past, he encountered Warrior, one of the demon slayers who fought him, took over and killed him from behind, leaving Mender traumatized.
- He is indirectly responsible for Warrior facing a brutal and psychotic counterpart known as the Avatar, causing him to fail to recognize his former comrades and attempt to kill them despite his membership in the Demon Slayers.
- During a battle with the leader of the Demon Slayers, Reaper, Harvest engulfs a wave of flame that severely crushes the Reaper's right arm, he could have finished off the Reaper for good if Spanner hadn't intervened and forced the Shinigami to flee quickly. then he roared in anger and engulfed the entire harvest in waves of fire.
- During a silent conversation with BLU Nnnngh Sniper, he makes a deal with him to wipe out countless lives so they can kill everything in their path before both of them disappearing.
- Although he has an omnicidal alliance with BLU Nnnngh Sniper, it is only to serve his needs and use him more as a pawn in his plans, meaning that the loyalty he holds is motivated by pragmatism rather than true loyalty.
- When he encounters two Soul Reapers, Soul Scout and Mender decide to confront him with their zanpakutō, they are no match for him. After overpowering these two, the Nightmare Medic charges in for a powerful attack before they retreat from the fight, physically and mentally exhausted.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- There are too many speculations and theories about many of his heinous actions have yet to been confirmed yet. However, given that he's often portrayed as a bloodthirsty demon, as it seen him killing dozens of people who were not a threat to him, spreading huge flames on Harvest, and sending his army out to commit mass murders, this is a minor prevention.
