Lord Dregg: Excellent to see you here on this primitive mud ball, my old assassin, and with new powers. I could use your talents once more. I plan to wipe this pitiful planet out and all of my enemies with it.
Newtralizer: Heh. If it destroys every Utrom hiding here, I'm all for it.
Dregg: You are brutal and needlessly sadistic, K'Vathrak. I like that.
~ Newtralizer joining Dregg's scheme to destroy Earth.

K'Vathrak, also known as Newtralizer, is a major antagonist in the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV series, serving as a minor antagonist in Season 1, a supporting antagonist in Season 2 and a major antagonist in Season 5.

He is a Salamandrian criminal who served as an assassin for Lord Dregg and was the one who disfigured G'Thrakka. However, he was then captured by the Kraang and kept on Earth, where he will have conflicts with the Turtles. He is the arch-nemesis of Donatello, as well as the archenemy of G'Thrakka/Sal Commander.

He was voiced by Danny Trejo.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He has committed many crimes under Lord Dregg.
  • He is why Sal Commander lost an eye and never recovered, which he takes sadistic enjoyment.
  • When he was released by Donatello, he goes on a destructive rampage, even eating a Kraang alive onscreen.
  • He attempted to kill the very people who released him.
  • He partners with Slash to do a Kraang genocide, brutally assaulting/killing them and stealing their technology.
  • In order to destroy the Kraang at the docks, he was willing to even destroy New York City.
  • Although one could argue that he cares for Slash as he calls him "brother" and saved saved him from the Kraang at one point, this is false considering that he nearly killed him with no remorse, which is one of the key reasons that led to Slash's redemption.
  • He attempts to commit a Utrom genocide, to which he does with sadistic glee.
  • Temporarily killed Michelangelo by dispersing him throughout the electric grid of the city right in front of the Turtles.
  • Was willing to help Lord Dregg in his plan to destroy the world if it means to destroy the Utroms also, to which Dregg calls it needlessly sadistic and brutal and admires his decision for that.
  • While in the first 2 seasons, he seems to be a vigilante and an extremist, by the time of Season 5, it is revealed he was evil beforehand, and thus, truly does not have any good intentions in the first place, and no new ones to help Dregg destroy the Earth either, especially since the Kraang is figuratively dead since the Utrom who brainwashed them into evil is dead when Captain Mozar had him blown up.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He ultimately fails the high Heinous Standards of the show. While the onscreen permanent kills was an advantage for Overmind, Shredder and Rat King, Newtralizer's onscreen permanent kill by sadistically eating a Kraang is so minor and so insignificant it doesn't give him the advantage. And the Rat King and Shredder, both with lower resources, did far worse. He does become more heinous than them in Season 5, but his crimes don't stand out now since genocide, which includes attempting to destroy the world, is no longer special for the show's standards at that point, and was just Dregg's minion, helping him destroy the earth, and thus, doesn't get an advantage here. However, ultimately, his onscreen kill, despite how minor and insignificant it is, the fact that he is one of the key reasons why Slash redeemed himself, the fact that he was willing to destroy New York City, and that he is the one who took Sal Commander's eye, to which he needs a cybertronic eye to replace it, makes him heinous enough to be here.

Trivia[]

  • The Newtralizer is the only Near Pure Evil villain in the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series to be an original character and not an incarnation of a previous character.
