Their Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Them Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
Together[]
- Before events of the game, they were leaders of a tribe infamous for poisoning their guests, murdering them in their sleep and stealing their valuables. Their tribe was also often starting brutal wars with other tribes like the Great Khans.
- After becoming one of the Strip Families they turned their tribe into criminal organization and by the time of the game they have a reputation of murdering their debtors and people who dare to cheat in their casino.
- They presumably killed Little Buster (NCR mercenary) for cheating in their casino. This is heavily implied because during his last conversation with Courier he mentioned that he found a way to crack Gomorrah and get rich.
- They tricked multiple prostitutes in working for them, and then they slowly started to make them addicted to Med-X, to avoid paying them in caps, this action ultimately turned their prostitutes into sex slaves who get paid in drugs.
- To make it even worse, the person who they made their pimp was Cachino, who was a perverted deviant who is implied to have some questionable "relations" with the best prostitutes.
- They hate working for Mr. House and want to overthrow him to have all casinos money for themselves and being the ones to run the entire Strip.
- They hired Clanden (a misogynistic serial killer, snuff filmer and terrorist) to carry out a large terrorist attack on The Strip:
- First he will bomb the NCR embassy, killing everyone in it (including embassy workers and prisoners who are there for some minor crimes).
- Later he will start a gas attack on Strip's other two casinos, which ends not only with NCR soldiers and other Strip families members deaths, but also with deaths of casinos workers and innocent casino guests.
- As part of Clanden's payment, they regularly send him prostitutes who were brutally raped and murdered for his snuff films.
- If they find out about the deals which Cachino had done behind their back, they will have him executed, even if this is understandable.
- If we convince Troike to destroy all weapons he sold to Gomorrah's on his own, they will torture and execute him after learning that Courier was sabotaging their plans.
- If Courier will try to stop their plan, they will attempt to kill them and Cachino.
- They have no loyalty to each other, which is evidenced by the fact that if we convince Sal that Nero is planning to kill him, they will attack each other.
- Sal's line "I knew this day would come." confirms that they don't trust each other even slightly.
- Ultimately, had they succeeded in their goals, the whole Mojave would have been forced to live in Caesar's rule, which includes women getting raped, people getting tortured through crucifixion, children being worked to near death and people being forced to fight in gladiator arenas against their wills.
Big Sal Only[]
- Drugged Troike (their weapon dealer), brutally murdered one of Gomorrah's prostitutes and framed Troike for it and as a way to "pay for his crimes" he forced him to smuggle weapons into The Strip.
What Prevents Them from Being Pure Evil?[]
Together[]
- While they are awful to their prostitutes, don't trust each other, and their relations with mercenaries like Clanden is debatable, they are benevolent bosses to members of Omerta and workers of Gomorrah (like barmans).
- This is evidenced by the fact if The Courier rats out Cachino, they will be truly shocked that he betrayed them, and clearly they don't enjoy killing him.
Nero Only[]
- Nero is slightly outheinoused by Sal due the fact that Sal is more involved in their crimes, but still stands out because most of their actions are shared and Nero has more influence in the family business because he is the leader and Sal presumably does his actions under his approval, making it minor.
Trivia[]
- They are the only Near Pure Evils in the Fallout series to be partners in crime.
