Nerissa is a major antagonist of the Italian comic book and cartoon series W.I.T.C.H., serving as a main antagonist in Season Two of the TV series.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Even before she officially turned to villainy, she was a the most morally ambiguous and power-hungry leader of the Guardians, who looked down on her comrades and always wanted more.
- When Cassidy was given the Heart of Kandrakar, she threw her ex-girlfriend off a cliff in a fit of rage to take the pendant for herself. An act that led to her imprisonment in an ice cave as punishment.
- Once she escaped her prison, she sought to get revenge on Kandrakar and enslave the entire universe. In her efforts to achieve this goal, she unleashed the minions of Phobos and started a war with the current Guardians, even interfering in their personal lives to do so.
- Tricking Julian into sleeping with her while disguised as the Mage, making her guilty of rape by deception.
- She abandoned her exes to the mercy of fate once she got new henchmen to use for her personal goals, showing that she does not care about them at all.
- Trapping Elion in her seal and absorbing her powers.
- Painfully brainwashing the former Guardians, including Yan Lin, forcing them to help her during her quest to conquer the universe, which caused severe psychological pain to Hay Lin by extension.
- Trying to absorb the powers of Cornelia's younger sister Lilian, who was only a child, to become even stronger.
- When the former Guardians were freed from her control, she captured them in the Seal same seal she previously used to imprison Elion and drain them of their powers as well.
- Once in Print with former Guardians and Elion, she abandoned them all there but she stayed herself to see illusions about the implementation of her plan. It was showcased there that if her plan succeeded, the entire universe would fall under her control and anyone who crossed her path or stood in her way would be swiftly killed.
- Although she had some standards, they are out of pure pragmatism.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- She felt a small amount of remorse for killing Cassidy.
- She genuinely loves her husband Julian and son Caleb, with her illusions even showing she was planning to rule the universe alongside the both of them.
