Nemesis is a supporting antagonist in the 1981 Smurfs cartoon show. He is an evil wizard to tries to steal the Long Life Stone to gain immortality.
He was voiced by Frank Welker, who also voiced Daisy in Moville Mysteries, Megatron in the Transformers film series and the Indominus rex in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He tried to steal the Long Life Stone from The Smurfs to live forever, which would drive the entire race to extinction, which he was aware of and didn’t care.
- He forced Gargamel and Scruple to tell him where The Smurfs were and later tried to kill them by dropping them down a cliff.
- He froze two people with the magic wand he stole.
- He then froze three Smurfs into place and threatened to kill them if Grandpa Smurf didn’t lead him to the Long Life Stone.
- He used magic to transport everyone out of a library.
- He absorbed magic from the forbidden Archives of Evil to summon the Long Life Stone and gain immortality.
- He used a magic spell to retrieve the memories of Papa Smurf and the Long Life Stone.
- He overall has no redeeming qualities and is taken mostly seriously.
- While Lord Balthazar did worse by trying to destroy all of time, Nemesis still stands out due to his lesser resources, as he was seemingly unaware of Father Time, nor did he ever posses his sickle.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Due to his everlasting hiccups, Nemesis is sometimes played for laughs, even if they are a quirk he has.
