Emanuel Crocket, also better known as Mr. Crocket, is the titular main antagonist of the 2024 horror film of the same name.

He is a children's television show host who wanted to make children happy and protect them from harm, however, Crocket had a dark secret of being a homicidal murderer who died during a shootout with the police. He eventually returns through supernatural means, making a deal in hell to send the souls of uncaring, bad parents into damnation in exchange of having a twisted, grotesque pocket dimension of his own where he took the kidnapped children to.

He was portrayed by Elvis Nolasco.

What Makes Him Close To Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He commits extremely brutal acts: abduction of kids, murdering parents/abusive guardians, torturing them in grotesque ways.
  • He manipulates vulnerable children, exploits their fears and trauma.
  • He uses supernatural means and a Faustian deal (with the Devil) to gain power, which indicates intentional crossing into immorality rather than accidental wrongdoing.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He does have a backstory of abuse and trauma (he was abused as a child) and his initial intention (or at least one of his motivations) is to protect neglected children.
  • His moral code is selective: he kills those he deems “bad parents”.

  • Mr. Crocket was originally based on the titular character from an episode of the same name from Bite Size Halloween.
