His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He created the McReary Crime Family and started building his criminal empire. Under his leadership, the family became an extremely powerful force in Liberty City to the point that within the neighbourhoods, it was called the Inhabitants Purgatory.
- In 1950, he murdered someone for an unknown reason.
- He was extremely abusive to his wife and sons, molesting and raping Packie and Gerry with implications he did the same to Francis and Derrick, deeply traumatizing them.
- Forced his own wife to help him in covering up his crimes, what lead one time to her being arrested.
- He is hated by his sons and even his wife, who still loved him even after everything he done, mentions that he is most likely in Hell.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He deeply cared for his only daughter Kate and never abused her.
- As he is already dead, he doesn't have much personality and characterization. However, this is minor due the fact that thanks to his family, his crimes still had onscreen effects on his children.
- He fails the Heinous Standards compared to Trevor Philips and Eddie Low who, with lower resources, were able to do worse crimes such as cannibalism, terrorism, torture, child murder and higher kill counts with more brutal methods. Even Eddie, just like Mr. McReary, raped his family members.
