All I wanted was my peace and quiet... AND I WILL HAVE IT!
~ Morag's villainous breakdown.
Why yes, I could... If I were a hare-brained fool! Now give me the crown!
~ Morag, rejecting an offer from Lincoln to redeem herself

Morag is the main antagonist of the Nickelodeon's 2021 animated comedy film The Loud House Movie. She is the member of a Scottish family who had been rivaling the Loud family and the caretaker (and later slave) of the Loud Castle. She is also the archenemy of the Loud family, but mainly Lincoln.

She was voiced by Michelle Gomez.

Her Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • During her debut, she's initially seen as a jerk, constantly showing no respect to the Louds and Angus all because she wanted peace and quiet. However, she's later revealed to be worse as the movie progresses when she devised her plan to get rid of the Louds.
  • After Lincoln earned the town's trust while campaigning to become the duke, she attempted to break their trust in him by telling them all that the Louds were only staying for a week at the time, likely just to ensure that she would have her peace and quiet by the time they left.
  • After Lincoln became the duke, she devised a plan to get rid of the Loud family from Loch Loud after learning that her ancestor, Old Aggie, got rid of the Loud ancestors just to maintain peace and quiet, which included:
    • Manipulating the Loud sisters into showing their talents to the residents just to take advantage of Lincoln's insecurity since she knew that he was outshined by them.
    • Pretending to sympathize with Lincoln and tricking him into riding Lela the Dragon to get the residents' attention back, hoping she would get rid of him and his family.
    • Controlling Lela with the Ancient Dragon Stone into causing trouble through the village, humiliating Lincoln and ruining his reputation in Loch Loud and eventually pressuring him to abdicate the throne.
  • After she succeeded, she took sinister glee in the fact that they were leaving and got rid of Old Aggie's journal so nobody could find the evidence behind her actions.
  • She attempted to take over Loch Loud by becoming the duchess by lying that the Louds had requested her to inherit the throne, possibly to get rid of its people, including Angus, just to maintain peace and quiet.
  • After losing her respect from the residents when her true nature was revealed, she decided to use Lela, whom she had earlier fed to make more powerful, to cause a rampage and endangered the residents there, which forced them to evacuate. It’s also heavily implied that she intended to destroy the town, as Lincoln acknowledges that the citizens would lose their homes under her reign, and she was shown to not care about the accidental property damage she caused when the Louds fought back against her.
  • She tried to kill the Louds once and for all, including Lincoln and Angus, not caring that most of them were children.
  • When Lincoln tried to reason with her and offer redemption, she refused because she believed that she would be, in her words, a "hare-brained fool" to do so.
  • After Lela destroyed the Ancient Dragon Stone, she, enraged that she was powerless, furiously lunged at Lincoln which sent her, Lincoln, and Lily (who was only a baby at the time) over a cliff, almost falling to their deaths.
  • In contrast to the slice-of-life tone of The Loud House, where most of the antagonists were either jerks or bullies, Morag is actually shown to be evil and easily passes the heinous standard, as she is shown to be controlling a dragon to cause a rampage and attempting to kill the Loud family.
  • Her entire motive is that she just wants peace and quiet, which is extremely selfish and doesn't even come close to making her sympathetic.
  • Although Ucumu trumps her in heinousness, he has more resources in him being a literal god, while she just had a dragon-controlling stone.

What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • She shows genuine care for her late ancestor Old Aggie, as she was horrified at the picture of her being ruined.
  • She has a few comedic moments that detract from her villainy, such as comically suffering from the Loud kids' antics and her comical defeat where she was barked at by seals resembling the Loud family.

Trivia[]

  • She and Ucumu are the only The Loud House villains to be Near Pure Evil and actually one of the only characters in the franchise to be an actual villain as most antagonists are either jerks or bullies, and even among the actual villains, Morag stands out as being by far the most dangerous human villain and taken the most seriously of them.
