Mecha Kong: Battle? Is that what you people down in the little town of yours call what happened?
Leonard: Uh... it wasn't...?
Mecha Kong: No... it was a slaughter...

~ Mecha Kong to Leonard about the "battle" of the Monster-Verse

Mecha Kong is the main antagonists of Triangle vs. Monkey series by Blunt Brothers Productions. He is the mechanical version of Monkey.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close To Being Pure Evil?[]

In General[]

  • Unlike a majority of the series villains, he doesn't suffer from "kill the heroes villainy" likely nearly all of the rest who simply try to kill Triangle, Monkey and Noodle Neck (When he joins in Season 2) when they travel in other universes while those who don't like the Crimson Hunter and Shin Godzilla only pass the baseline. Meaning Mecha Kong faces little to no competition because of it.
  • Despite him being from a parody series and likely based on Mechani-Kong, he is nearly taken seriously by the characters and not taken for laughs. While he was in some comedic moments they don't detract him as a threat, shows his sadism or that someone else gets treated as the joke NOT Mecha Kong in those moments.
  • Despite being a mecha, Mecha Kong has a clear moral agency and personality as he has a cold and sadistic personality.
  • While the Developer did do worse, Mecha Kong stands out for destroying a universe, his sadism, doing his acts with slightly fewer resources, and the fact Mecha Kong bailed on him and Mecha Triangle to die while preventing the heroes from restoring their home and not being brought to justice.

Triangle vs. Monkey[]

  • He and Mecha Triangle betrayed the Monster-Verse to the Militia when they open a portal to their universe and cowardly begged them to be spared. The Developer later promotes him and Mecha Triangle to Generals of the Militia as an reward.
  • He destroyed his home universe by leading the Militia to attack it which slaughtered all of it’s inhabitants save for Triangle and Monkey who were spared while Noodle Neck gone into hiding.
    • While the universe's destruction wasn’t shown on screen, the attack on it prior to it’s destruction was shown in a flashback so this saves this act from suffering from offscreen villainy.
  • During the attack on the Monster-Verse:
    • While mass murder normally doesn't stand out normally in the series since it is an comon crime as even the heroes did their share of mass murder of their own, Mecha Kong’s victims stand out due to them being loved ones of the heroes and did it all out of sadism. He brutally killed Spacegodzilla (who is a hero in this series) and Mothra with him killing the latter very slowly in front of Triangle while grinning.
    • Mecha Kong later then told Crimson Hunter if it was an battle Mecha Kong said "No it was an slaughter" further hinting his sadism.
  • Rather than killing Triangle and Monkey, he decided to have them fight to the death by wiping out their memories except for each other's rivalry out of curiosity to see who would win while doing it behind the Developer's back. This causes the two to nearly kill each other and would later escape after Mecha Triangle disobeyed his orders to not intervene with their fight. This would later have them escape after teaming up and defeating Triangle's mechanized counterpart. This would later have consequences:
    • This would allow Triangle and Monkey to escape where they used the Router to escape where they ended up causing damage to multiple worlds when they got into fights with their inhabitants, though out of self defense. This makes Mecha Kong indirectly responsible for it. He would later hire The Crimson Hunter to track them down to get the Router back.
    • Not killing them would also be his own undoing as he and the Militia would've won if he simply killed them as this allowed the heroes to foil the Militia later on.
  • He recurted Rexy, Smaug, and Starscream (who had encounters with the heroes earlier) by promising them revenge on Triangle and Monkey what they did to their worlds, however he shown zero care about about them, so he likely used it for usefulness reasons.
    • It is also the fact he wasn’t upset by Smaug and Starscream being killed and Rexy running away loosing her arms to Monkey meaning is confirmed he has no care about them.
  • When the told the Crimson Hunter to leave so he can talk to Arkadi Ivanov, he threaten to rip his head off if he didn't do so, given his sadistic personality he likely wasn't bluffing.
  • He later steps up a fake hostage negotiation with using Mowcuss Melish' gained trust Noodle Neck to give up the Router. While his harsh treatment waa staged to fool the heroes, he overdoes it too much on his own boss.
  • He later assists the Developer with his attempt on Project Reset which would've not only killed the millions of people in the Concepts Domian but erased the ENTIRE Multiverse and reset it which would've killed an incalculable number in the multiverse so only the Militia would rule anyone new who arrives would only remember their rule.
  • Mecha Kong would later taunt Triangle about Mothra's death seemly enraging him.
    • It is implied Triangle has close feelings for her or very close much like the Monsterverse Godzilla and Mothra share a symbiotic relationship.
  • During the final battle of season 3, after his face was torn off of Triangle and the heroes foiled Project Reset, he left the Developer and Prime Mecha Triangle to face the heroes alone to die to save his own skin, meaning he will bail on his own allies if he on the loosing side.
  • While he did had half his face torn off by Triangle, he was not brought to justice as Mecha Kong ran away with a backup copy of his home universe, this not only makes Mecha Kong unpunished for his as it makes him not only an Karma Houdini but also prevents the heroes from restoring their home universe back.
  • While he did some of his actions under the Developer's orders, most of his plans were on his own, not to mention he subverts this at the end of Season 3 when he bails on him and Mecha Triangle to die.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Evil?[]

  • While he mostly taken seriously he has a detracting comedic moment in Season 3 as he and Monkey were charging at each other, they tumbled and rolled a bit, when they got up their weapons switched and frozen up awkwardly with Monkey saying "Wait...", however Mecha Kong attacks Monkey and resumes fighting seriously when it ends, making it an minor prevention.
  • He also honored and kept his deal to the Crimson Hunter his deal of 1 million dollars despite failing so many times, there is no indication he did it so Leonard wouldn't turn on him if he didn't get what he wanted.

Trivia[]

  • Mecha Kong is technically the only Godzilla mecha to be Near Pure Evil as most of them suffer from moral agency issues or fail their works heinous standards.
    • Since he is a likely spoof of Mechani-Kong, it also technically makes him the only version Mechani-Kong to be Near Pure Evil so far.
    • Because of the crossover nature of Triangle vs. Monkey to having his version of Starscream and Rexy interacting and working for him, he is also technically the only Transformers Near Pure Evil and Jurassic Park Near Pure Evil to be an Fanon Character.
    • He and the Developer is also currently the only Blunt Brothers Productions villains to be Near Pure Evil too.
  • While he might be Near Pure Evil now, as Triangle vs. Monkey's Fourth Season is going on and it might his status might be challenged if he reappears.
