The Mayor is a major antagonist of Monkie Kid. He is a former Chief of War and Lady Bone Demon's second-in-command, who poses as the mayor of Megapolis, being one of her pawns in her quest to recreate the mortal realm without flaws, aiming for perfection.
He was voiced by Steve Blum, who also voiced Doom Ma Geddon in Regular Show, Killer Croc in Batman: Arkham franchise, Lady Arkham in Batman: The Telltale Series, Nar Est in Niko and the Sword of Light and Smytus in My Life as a Teenage Robot.

What Makes Him Close to Pure Evil?[]
- He is incredibly sadistic. Even Lady Bone Demon seemed to find joy more in the thought of her goals completed, or people foolishly trying to deny "destiny", while the Mayor clearly feels lots of fun when assaulting, intimidating, attacking or killing anyone, from Macaque, to the Spider Goons to Sun Wukong himself.
- He betrayed the Emperor he once served centuries ago in favor of Lady Bone Demon during her first rising to power, and while the ruler was said to be a "selfish man", it's clear the Mayor only cares about power rather than justice.
- He gave Monkie Kid and Mei a magical, skeleton-like key that could unlock anything, which indirectly freed his master and being the cause of her actions in the series.
- Coerced Macaque into going back to LBD and hand over his Shadow Lantern by grabbing him through the neck and intimidating him with his aura.
- He killed Syntax, Huntsman, Strong Spider, and Spider Queen's goons when they were either in Lady Bone Demon's way or they're no longer useful in the plan.
- Helped with Lady Bone Demon put all of the ingredients in the Trigram Furnace with glee. Note that one of the ingredients was still sentient and begging Spider Queen herself.
- He offered himself to bring the Samadih Fire to his master by going to the Monkie Kids team directly and bringing them (specifically Mei) to her, although LBD denied his offer.
- He fought Wukong when he took matters into his own hands and decided to simply blunt, defeat the Lady Bone Demon physically, always trying to leave him open for a strike by his master.
- After being depowered and defeated, he still tried to put the heroes down, claiming they were no match for the power of his master.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Evil?[]
- He is genuinely loyal to the Lady Bone Demon as he praises her constantly, and even when kidnapped, depowered, with nowhere to go, defeated and abandoned by LBD, he still sings her praises and deifantly claims the heroes won't be able to beat her.
