| ~ Maxwell Roth showing his true side. |
| â | What? Snap a baby crow's neck between my thumb and forefinger? Slice to bits the ones you deem "innocent"? Keep the world in its divine manic state? For the same reason I do anything, why not? | â |

His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He lived his young life as an criminal who has a hatred for the upper-class.
- He joined Crawford Starrick to gain more power and influence in the criminal world, just so that he could get away with his chaotic and anarchistic crimes.
- Though he opposes Starrick, he himself is no better than him, because at least Starrick has shown himself to be an affable and honorable man at times.
- His affection for Jacob Frye is seen as an obsession.
- He manipulated Jacob into help his anarchistic activities.
- He blew up one of Starrick's factories while child workers were inside it, even though Jacob attempted to stop his gang from doing it, revealing that he is doing it all out of sadism. His excuse was that he was free and that he could do whatever he damn pleases.
- He killed a baby crow by snapping it's neck with his thumb and forefinger, and sent it as a warning towards Jacob.
- He invited the people of London to his theater, Alhambara, just to burn everyone to death and to lure Jacob into his game once more.
- He had his gang members act as decoys so he can live longer instead of being killed by Jacob
- Once he has delivered his speech and toast to the audience within the theater, he orders his men to light up the stage and burn everyone alive. Once the chaos ensues, he sadistically laughs as he yells "Burn, BURN, BURN" as the flames scorched everything and everyone in the theater.
- Even during his final moments, he showed absolutely no remorse for his crimes whatsoever, with his only reason to do what he did was simply because, in his own words, "Why not?"
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He ultimately fails the Heinous Standards of the Assassin's Creed franchise to much worse villains, especially to Jack the Ripper, who surpassed the heinous standards with his kill count, low resources, and with his much more personal villainy towards Jacob.
