Master Xandred is the main antagonist of Power Rangers Samurai and one of the two main antagonists (alongside Serrator) of Power Rangers Super Samurai. He's the arch-nemesis of Jayden Shiba.
He was voiced by Jeff Szusterman.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Attacked the Earth centuries ago, with his Nighlok army, and tried to wipe out all of the humanity, by flooding the Earth with Sanzu River, leading to Samurai Rangers to fight and stop him and seal him with the power of Samurai Symbols.
- Attacked the Earth for generations, trying to conquer it.
- Attacked and defeated the 17th generation of Shiba Clan, causing Jayden's father to seal him in the Netherworld with the power of the symbols.
- Abused his own henchmen, just because he was angry, and just if they become unhelpful or speak without permission. He does let the monsters come up with their own plans, but only if it benefits him and his goals.
- When Arachnitor tried to usurp him, Xandred transformed him into a mindless mutant, due to Xandred having gained increased powers.
- Antagonized and had an intense hatred for Deker, since Deker intervened in one of Master Xandred's plans (which also involved the current Red Samurai Ranger that he even burned Dayu's harmonium due to her failure to destroy Deker).
- Made an alliance with Serrator to destroy the Rangers, only turning on him due to learning of his deception.
- Went out of Sanzu River and attacked the Samurai Rangers, led by Lauren.
- Attacked and wounded the Rangers, including Lauren.
- Attacked the Panorama City and ordered the Moogers to destroy the city.
- Tried to kill the samurai rangers at both normal and giant size,which led to the rangers having to sacrifice their zords and nearly their own LIVES to destroy him.
- Said battle led to the permanent destruction of the samurai gigazord.
- When he was defeated by Rangers, he taunted them, saying that Nighloks would return someday to take over the world, trying to take them down with him.
- He is by far,the only villain to permanently destroy an ultrazord.
- Never showed any regret for his actions and didn't genuinely care about anyone. He only keeps his minions around because he needs an army.
- Even when he ended up fixing Dayu's Harmonium, he only did so because Dayu leaving made his anger problem worse and he never apologized for damaging it in the first place.
- Didn't have any comedic moments (Unless you count him in Party Monsters about him complaining about not being invited to the halloween party at the Nighlok Heaven and his ninja costume, but since Party Monsters contradicts several plot points of the main series such as Dayu being on his ship, it likely doesn't count or is only a minor one.).
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He fails the Heinous Standards to other main Power Rangers villains, such as Serrator (whose resources were smaller than his) and is not heinous enough to be Pure Evil. But his plan to flood the human world is unique enough to push him past the baseline.
