Mariabell Rosso is a major antagonist in the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime series.
She is voiced by Inori Minase in Japanese and Kira Buckland in English.

What Makes Her Close To Being Pure Evil?[]
In General[]
- Unlike many of the series, she lacks the morally grey-zoned, Anti-Villain, well intended and sympathetic traits as she done selfish greed for her own gains.
- Despite the high heinous standards, she easily stands out for her lacking her superhuman abilities and her being one of the most irredeemable antagonists in the series.
That Time I Got Reincanated as a Slime[]
- In a previous life she was a queen of a nation who poorly treated her subjects poorly while giving herself lots of luxury before being reincarnated to the Central World as Maira Rosso.
- She would attempt to spread her influence throughout the world enslaving many Otherworlders under her control to use as her pawns as it doesnāt help at all Otherworlders are already being enslaved as it is.
- Using Granbell Rosso as her proxy to orchestrate her schemes where makes her responsible for the Seven Luminaries actions in her attempts to destroy the Jura-Tempest Federation out of sheer envy of them having better stuff and being in her way of conquest.
- She was gonna willingly endanger the Western Nations to achieve her goals as when her advisors told her killing Rimuru Tempest would cause Milim Nava and Veldora Tempest to go on a destructive rampages that would destroy the Western Nations and say she didn't care as she was gonna willingly sacrifice millions to get what she wants.
- This isn't Fridge-Horror as Milim and Veldora has shown to be on destructive rampage before with the latter already terrorizing the Western Nations in the past prior to the series.
- She would have Yuuki Kagurazaka be her pawn in her attempt to eliminate Rimuru Tempest by freeing the Chaos Dragon from itās seal in a attempt to eliminate Rimuru Tempest which wouldāve endangered the Western Nations if he and Milim didn't put astop to it.
- While Yuuki isn't 100% innocent himself, he is Anti-Villain with a sympathetic backstory and well intended unlike her who is extremely selfish.
- She would attempt to control Rimuru Tempest with her Greed Skill only to fail due to him being much stronger before attempting to flee shows how much of a coward she is.
- Although her death by Yuuki Kagurazaka was brutal and despite being a child, it is played for karma for her crimes of willingly gonna risk getting millions killed for her selfish greed.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Evil?[]
- She genuinely cares for Granbell Rosso, while she did use him as a pawn for her own schemes, she still harbors enough genuine care for Granbell Rosso due to him cherishing her since she was the reincarnation of his late wife Maria Rosso and he was considered one of the only few she actually truly cared.
Trivia[]
- Only the human counts as Near Pure Evil, as the Manas counterpart of Maria is a separate character and just recently got introduced.
- She, Feldway, Clayman, and ClichƩ are the only That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Near Pure Evils, as Gelmud and Jahil are Pure Evils while everyone else morally ranked who passes the heinous standards are all Inconsistently Heinous.
- Ironically she is a Near Pure Evil Hate Sink, as she is considered the opposite of Rimuru Tempest, who is a Near Pure Good Love Exalted.
