| “ | Tonight, your pod will bloom here. And when the pod blooms in darkness, it belongs to the darkness. It will become my little dark prince. I'll destroy the forest with the very thing you hoped would save it. | „ |

He is the villainous leader of the Boggans, a race of bat-like creatures who wants to destroy the Leafmen (especially his arch-nemesis Ronin) and take over their kingdom.
He was voiced by Christoph Waltz, who also played Hans Landa in Inglourious Basterds.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

- It is implied that he caused the death of Nod's father, because on a mission he and Ronin went to the Boggan Forest and he did not come out alive.
- He conspired with his son to kill Queen Tara and thus destroy the entire forest.
- In the beginning, he successfully kills the queen, which cause everyone in Moonhaven to weakened.
- He tried destroying the buds when the queen chose after her death, then begins corrupting it to make it his own.
- He is willing to turn the ecosystem into a barren environment while he rules over the forest.

- While his death of being absorbed into a tree can be horrifying, it is well-deserved for everything he had done.
- Despite having some comedic lines in the film, his actions are taken seriously and they don't detract from his villainy.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He truly loved and cared for his son Dagda and despite indirectly causing his death in the first place, he still wanted to avenge him by killing Ronin.
